Am I the only person just sitting here thinking about how awesome it is that a fish's name is "Speedy"? 🤣 Anyway, sounds like I need to go watch this LOL.

Green Day – Vibraslap

Green Day started straying beyond their original three-chord pop-punk remit on 1997’s Nimrod and even more so on the 2000 follow-up. The hard acoustic-flavoured Warning featured a full complement of horns, with Billie Joe Armstrong also providing mandolin and piano. Even better they also incorporated something called a vibraslap, credited in the liner notes to guest musician James Creepies. Not only does this have the greatest name of any instrument ever, it’s a modern-day version of using a donkey’s jawbone as a musical instrument. True story.

Sad stuff. Ive had a soft spot for magazines since Gamepro shut down here years ago. 

Magazines were a great way to get information when I was growing up. Didn't have to wait 5 minutes for a page to load!

They show through 2016 for me?  There was that one from this year that still needs to be added though.  Not sure who updates that over there.  @Hermione?

Yeah sorry I edited my post. The links work fine but 2016 is the most recent scan.

I think those songs are getting heavily licensed by Warner to recoup some money.

on itunes there is a song called "hondra" that says it features Billie Joe, but it sounds like garbage and I don't think he's really featured.  

by 1VIDA, featuring Billie Joe Armstrong, Rappek, and about 25 other people I've never heard of.  

 

Anyone else seen this?

It was subtle/low-volume, but yep, I just heard it. Got their money, indeed 😄
