No offense to FOAM at all but they actually are working on another album. 4

Popular Post Give_Me_Novacaine90 Posted April 18, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 18, 2020 Best Rock Albums of 2020 (So Far) Green Day, 'Father of All ...' This could be a polarizing record in the band’s catalog, especially given the more pop-infused feel permeating the early part of the album. Fans were introduced to the jittery energy bomb “Father of All” title track last fall, along with the clap-happy “Fire, Ready, Aim” and the Joan Jett-nicking “Oh Yeah.” But count us in on the band evolving upon a sound that has served them well, but may have been growing a little old. The album should be judged by more than the early singles, with the catchy “Meet Me on the Roof,” the brief but solid “Sugar Youth,” the ‘60s-ish rave up “Stab You in the Heart” and the grittier rocker “Take the Money and Crawl” leaving plenty well worth exploring. —CC https://loudwire.com/2020-best-rock-albums-so-far 4 2

GreenDayItaly Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 New interview with Pete Wentz, talking about Hella Mega Tour - You should have been warming up for the Hella Mega Tour right about now, right? “Yup. Two weeks before quarantine began, we got together and rehearsed our set with our staging, our video and our lights because it’s a stadium, so you can’t just do it the week before. Now it’s like we’re circling, waiting to land. Nobody knows anything and it’s hard because we really want to do this tour. It was a hard thing to orchestrate because there are three bands, you have to figure out who’s doing what and everyone had to really want to do it. I know as much as you do about what’s going to happen with it.“ - Plus, you must just be looking forward to watching Weezer and Green Day every night? “We did a mini version of the show at Whiskey a Go Go and when Green Day play songs like ‘Basket Case’, those songs are so massive it’s like they’re baked into people’s DNA. Fall Out Boy aren’t there yet. Is that somewhere we could potentially get to? Yeah, I believe so. We grew up listening to Green Day. You have to think about what the 16-year-old version of you would think about you getting the chance to play with Weezer and Green Day. It’s super cool. Are you going to turn it down because you think you’re too big? Nah.” https://www.nme.com/music-interviews/pete-wentz-fall-out-boy-solo-album-cheap-cuts-phone-weezer-green-day-hella-mega-tour-2650450

Hardly.

jengd Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Ok, just looked again, the original add says epic, it’s the article above which added the rare bit it looks to me.

It could imply that maybe they’ll show more than what was in the World Stage broadcast, since the article claims that there’s footage never before uploaded to YouTube. 2

It starts with just Tre., says he's coming from his home studio. First song he plays is The Interrupter's Age of Outrage. Next comes Billie: "Laying low during my social distancing time". He plays UltraQ, a new track from their new EP (Jakob's band)! I'll update if there's anything interesting. 3 1 2
