newsflash777 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I came across this just now on Rolling Stone's website: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/the-new-immortals-20130305 Green Day's on their 'new immortals' list (along with Taylor Swift but I'm going to ignore that)
Bob2123 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Green Day trended #1 worldwide about 20 minutes ago. For what exactly? Everybody decided it was a good time to tweet their lame "Wake Me Up When September Ends" jokes. 1

I am laughing hard right now because the first song Grimmy played (Well it was an intern who loaded it but still) on the Breakfast show today was WMUWSE. Granted, it's because it's October 1st. But still. 2
Brian Gag Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Apparently everyone missed it, but yesterday marked the 10th anniversary of The Network's "Money Money 2020." According to the Internets, it was released Sept. 30, 2003. 4

Webb_2011 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 "X-Kid" will be available on the new Rocksmith 2014 game! For those of you who don't know what Rocksmith is, it's a video game that allows you to plug in your actual guitar or bass and learn to play songs at your own speed. I bought the original game back in 2011 and I will probably buy the new version as well! I saw the announcement on Rocksmith's Facebook page but here's another link I found. http://www.theriffrepeater.com/queen-and-green-day-will-be-coming-to-rocksmtih-2014/

Carrot Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Tonight at 9, AXS tv is airing Green Day's performance at the Fox Theatre from 2009 as apart of some live pop punk acts along with bands like New Found Glory, The All American Rejects, and Fall Out Boy. Green Day returns to the stage for the first time since their multi-award winning American Idiot for a live performance of their brand new album, 21st Century Breakdown, at the recently restored Fox Theatre in Oakland. The concert also includes exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and commentary. - See more at: http://www.axs.tv/schedules/#sthash.qway7FID.dpuf

Which pop group had albums called "Dookie" and "American Idiot"? Should have asked him what Dookie meant as the question master obviously had no idea ha ha.
