Now the interview is live! Check out my interview with Kevin Preston! http://genreisdead.com/genre-is-dead-interview-with-prima-donnas-kevin-preston/ And let me just say, he was more than happy to gush over Billie! I was nervous asking him about it because we were there to mainly talk about Prima Donna's new LP, but he loved it! That made me so happy that he liked talking about Billie Otherwise, he was a great dude! We had such a nice conversation. This is so awesome, congrats on a great interview! His gushing over Billie is the highlight 1 1

C’mon, we need to see the hat 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Squashie Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 I just did a search on cnn(dot)com for "green day" "Oakland Coffee" "billie joe armstrong" "mike dirnt" and there is nothing about their coffee venture/business posted.
Montclare Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 I just want to see drunk bunny lurking in the background. 1

pacejunkie punk Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Is that event in Vegas? It’s weird nothing on the page says what city it’s in.

JDookie Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 I don't know if it's worthy of its own topic so I'll post it here. Billie Joe will receive honorary citizenship in Viggiano tomorrow afternoon, in Viggiano's place. So he'll become Italian?! Sooo cool! They've talked about him and showed him in Viggiano in the news, this is a local channel, I've got a friend from Basilicata that told me about this and hopefully they put it on internet. It starts from 10.50, Billie talks a bit at 12.30. You can see it here 3
Squashie Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Billie Joe in Viggiano (it's in Italian, but there are some nice photos and a video of people singing him green day songs). https://www.gazzettadellavaldagri.it/green-day-billie-joe-armstrong-e-a-viggiano-foto-e-video/ 1
LaughingClock Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Not really Green Day news really but this effects as they obviously knew him the whole band and families. Sorry if this was already posted but sad day in the "punk community". http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/music/la-me-steve-soto-20180628-story.html 1

Natural causes doesn’t make sense when a person is 54. Sad either way but I always need to know the why. 2
gaslight13 Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Just got the latest issue of Rolling Stone. There's a list of "100 greatest songs of the century so far". American Idiot made it on the list at #70. I was just happy to see it on there (though it deserves it), but irritating to see some of the songs that beat it. Like Harry Styles "Sign of the Times" which was around #50. And apparently it only just edged out Call Me Maybe at #71. 1

Harry Styles please , doubt that song will be on any lists in 5 years. American Idiot might get beaten by some questionable current songs when lists like this get made but it will be remembered much longer. 3
Squashie Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Who the eff is Harry Styles? (seriously, I have no idea who he is) 1

Good Riddance not even on there when it’s played at pretty much every graduation or milestone event? 3 hours ago, pacejunkie punk said: Are they still not revealing the cause? So could very well have been a heart attack.
