JIGD13 Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 They toured together 3 years ago, that's hardly news. I know it's no related but do you know any other bands that had supporter acts in a show from a band with a younger carrer
Guest Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 your sig is so disturbing Why thank you I know it's no related but do you know any other bands that had supporter acts in a show from a band with a younger carrer Do you mean bands being supported by bands that had been around longer than them? Yeah, it happens a lot. Thin Lizzy opened for Metallica a few times on their recent tours, for instance. It's very common at festivals too.

Annie, get your gun Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 It would be cool if he post a picture of him being happy about he won or, getting the tattoo 1

UNFAIR but i'm happy for him
DookieLukie Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Green Day was mentioned in a Reddit AMA by Alice Cooper as a band that will stand the test of time. Only bad news, he says "he's not sure if they're still around" :/ http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1lf0v7/shock_rock_talks_alice_cooper_here_ask_me_anything/ Just page search (Ctrl + F) Green Day to find it 2
Velocity Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Maybe this isn't news, I don't know, I don't really keep up with these things lately, but I was listening to Radio 104.5 Philadelphia last night and the DJ basically confirmed that there would be a Dookie 20th anniversary tour next year. iiiiiiinteresting. 3

That sounds more like a deduction of the DJ based on the last Green Day shows to me, since they've been playing Dookie in full. But I doubt he knows something that isn't officially confirmed yet, right?? Also it would be fairer of them to do a Dookie + American Idiot tour next year, there are two huge anniversaries

Iva Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 No Dookie hater responded yet? Ohwell, they probably have a case of dookie themselves.
Cath Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 a Dookie tour would be awesome. i mean who doesn't want to hear this album live? no one
Tubbie Head Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 I'd still rather hear them playing more Trilogy than Dookie But that's just me... It's not that I don't want to hear Dookie. I would be more than happy with that if I get to see them next year. But at the concert I went they still played more Dookie songs than Trilogy ones Although I really enjoyed hearing those, I would love more Trilogy. 1
burnout409 Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 John Roecker on Radio tonight 7PM CA He said 'I am on the radio at 7 until 9. Talking about the release of my Green Day Film "Heart Like A Hand Grenade" - Svengali's Return and playing two new songs from Roecker's Melody and a whole lot more. I promise to behave...sorta. hmm Green Day on I heart Radio I love the irony.' Might be interesting to hear what he has to say about heart like a hand grenade..... listen here http://theindependent.fm/listen/ 1
