Ha, another Jen who loves Insomniac, awesome album. Panic Song and Bab's Uvula Who? are some of my favourite songs.  Got to be played loud and very good in the car.

Brain Stew is one of the only songs I like on Insomniac.  I missed it in concert.

Seems that there'll be a Green Day article on the next Rolling Stone. "On the road with Green Day". Didn't know if I should make a thread for it :P

Can't wait to read it. Probably'll an article dedicated to US' tour with some new statements from the band.

Green Day grosses $601K from Georgia show

The Grammy Award-winning punk rock band Green Day had a nice payday after a recent sold-out Georgia show.

Green Day with support from Against Me! performed at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, Ga., March 10 in front of 10,336 fans. The show, which was promoted by Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Live Nation Entertainment Inc. (NYSE: LYV), had $601,242 in gross sales, according to data recently compiled by Billboard.

Green Day has come a long way since the band released "Dookie" in 1994. The band has sold more than 85 million records and nearly doubled what Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown grossed during their last Georgia show.

Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown with support from Sixx:A.M. and As Lions performed at the Infinite Energy Center Dec. 10 in front of 6,357 fans (9,973 tickets were allotted for the concert). The show, which was co-promoted by Frank Productions, NS2 and CMoore Live, had more than $357,000 in gross sales, according to data compiled by Billboard.

Green Day, Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown all have a lot of ground to cover if they want to earn anything close to what Guns N' Roses can earn.

Atlanta Business Chronicle previously reported Guns N' Roses with special guest The Cult performed at a sold-out Georgia Dome in Atlanta July 27 in front of 41,508 fans. The show, which was promoted by Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Live Nation Entertainment Inc. (NYSE: LYV), had more than $4.5 million in gross sales, according to data compiled by Billboard.

During an interview with Atlanta Business Chronicle, Live Nation Atlanta President Peter Conlon, one of the most iconic and revered talent buyers and promoters in city history, said Atlanta is a solid market for contemporary and rock music.

"Rock always has been a good genre here [Atlanta]," he said. "It’s a good rock town."

I thought you were referring to the start of the Early Days Spotify thing? Unless there's ANOTHER clip of BJ peeing online.
