Green Day are currently at 20/1 Odds for headlining Glastonbury 2016. Pretty good value tbh. Reckon there's a good chance that they'll play it, timings all add up nicely and Foo's are supposedly not doing a 'make-up' performance next year.

Act's with better value are:
3/1 Foo Fighters
10/1 Muse
12/1 Fleetwood Mac
12/1 Oasis
16/1 AC/DC
16/1 Bloc Party
16/1 Daft Punk
16/1 Radiohead
16/1 The Rolling Stones
16/1 The Stone Roses

About four years ago, Lorenzen said she was making a black leather dress for Angie Matika, the wife of Jeff Matika of the band Green Day, for the Grammys. It was the one and only dress she's made for the awards show.

10 Of The Best B-Sides In Rock & Roll History

“Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)” – Green Day: Today it plays at every graduation party and sentimental event, but in 1994 it was the B-side to a little known single called “Brain Stew.” Three years later, the song was rerecorded, placed on 1997’s Nimrod and became one of the group’s most-loved songs.

Brain Stew was released in 96, not 94.

Remender Unsells Out, Council Votes He Can Reenter Gilman

"All he had to do was start a side project. Just do some work under a different name, like I did with Pinhead Gunpowder, and Gilman would let him back in. Maybe switch the first letters of his first and last name to create an alias, or something. Wait, nevermind.," Rock and Roll hall of famer and Green Day founder, Billy Joe Armstrong commented from aboard his Gulfstream G150.

So, I watched this terrible movie on Netflix called "Would You Rather" and the kid's bedroom had a poster of the American Idiot album cover. It was about the only saving grace of the film.

He founded the Warped Tour in 1995 after working for three years with the original Lollapalooza tour (owned then by Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell). It early on gave punk and alternative rock bands a platform for reaching thousands of kids at each tour stop in an era when radio airplay was out of reach for all but a few of the most accessible pop-punk bands (such as Green Day and, a bit later, Blink-182).

Billie Joe Armstrong (2003): A year before "American Idiot" the Green Day frontman lived it when he was arrested by Berkeley police for driving under the influence.

In 2004, Billie Joe Armstrong and his Green Day bandmates created a rock opera for the millennial generation, “American Idiot.” Less than a decade later, the songs were formed into a full stage musical at the hands of Michael Mayer with Armstrong’s guidance.
After a Broadway run and national tour, central Indiana actors are bringing the show to life at The Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis, with direction by Brian Fonseca and Emily Ristine.
At the risk of stating the obvious, if you do not like the music of Green Day — or the West Coast punk band’s more theatrical recent albums — this might not be the show for you. The songs are mainly from the album “American Idiot,” with a couple from “21st Century Breakdown,” and an older, but appropriate, hit at the curtain call.
