Here are your actual precentages/lives lost when you account for the fact that 77% of the U.S. identifies with the white race

When we set the percentages equal for minorities:
African-American Lives Lost @13% =  233
White Lives Lost @ 13%                  =  72 

When we set the percentages equal for majorities:
African-American Lives Lost @ 77%     = 1,398
White Lives Lost @ 77%                        =414

Those 414 white folks shot by police are equivalent to 72 when putting the white community in the minority to the equivalent of the black population. If the white community was the same size in number as the black community, there would have been substantially less death among the white community with total lives lost dropping from 414 to a mere 72.

The facts speak... just because you posted a graph with no analysis, no knowledge of how percentages work, it's kinda sickening really

The majority of GD's songs are love songs (or drugs), that's not my fault if you fail completely to see that. AND for the matter at hand, I do share some views as the band does, I do think social media is cancer, George Bush was an idiot, human interaction at concerts are more important than whipping your phone out, etc the list goes on. What's out of place is the fact you guys cannot stand someone with different ways of thinking being a fan of the band, and cannot fathom having dissenting opinions on any of these subjects and that's just sad.

Calling BLM a terrorist group isn't racist, it just means you can't defend the ridiculous riots of BLM supporters (which is what determined them to be a terrorist group by many). So yea go ahead and be ignorant to the reality not given by corporate media.

Of course I knew I'd be the minority here. I'm not shocked or annoyed about the being criticized but the lack of staying on topic is irritating (pretty sure that's important for forum rules as well but whatevs). I'll always be open for the discussion, of course only if rational thought is to be included not just emotion pandering (not directed at you, just for the readers).

You come across that way when you constantly post about this subject in a pissed off sounding way and say that no one here can handle hearing your opinions etc. You're welcome to post differing opinions but it's inevitable that a lot of people are going to disagree with you, and if people find what you say offensive they're allowed to say so.

As for off topic, sometimes when things become hostile some off topic discussion about that is needed. But yeah the topic of this thread is the AMA chant, so I ask everyone to please stay on that topic and also leave out the personal insults.

I know those stats, and scaling the actual number dead doesn't make you a winner winner chicken dinner kid. There's still an overwhelming majority of white people being murdered versus minorities via actual dead body count. There's no "equivalent" versus actual population represented, cops kill more whites, period.

I didn't post a graph with no analysis, there's just numbers of dead collected....and it's overwhelmingly white. Do you just not care about the fact that latinos and whties are dead because there isn't a LLM or WLM??? I know way more about numbers than you do, it's all I do is study and use numbers, it's sickening that you only use the same arguments that you could grab from the DNC's playbook from this election cycle.

What are the facts of Sandy Hook and where are your sources? Just because a journalist wants to know what actually occurred at a tragic and important historical event doesn't mean ITS VILE!!

I don't think I come across pissed off, I post in a way to argue without the emotional pieces included, not my fault others choose to name-call, and I'd argue its totally fair for me to address it afterwards like above. And you're right I agree, they can say it's offensive and whatever else, but the ad hominem attacks are ridiculous.

 

I personally think the AMA chant was a sorta planned deal, despite Billie saying otherwise. It may have been the night of, but I doubt Billie just thinks "OH THIS IS THE PERFECT TIME FOR MY REBUTTAL DURING THE BRIDGE!" to me it's just odd that he didn't use something original at least, I've heard that chant in the college protests for a long while. I think it'll die for the tour but re-emerge during the shows under the limelight on tv, but maybe not shows where it's only the band by itself.

I'm a direct person so no wasn't a threat but you accused me of being a homophobe on a comment that had nothing at all to do with Milo's sexuality I don't appreciate being accused of being something I'm not I'm a humanist I believe in rights for everyone regardless of race sex etc 

but yes we can agree to disagree I'll never change your mind and you'll never change my mind on Milo and ape being racist etc
