I ordered this thing on black Friday and then cancelled it because yeah I changed my mind.

 

Guess what the fuck showed up today? 

Their store needs to get their shit together man.

They confirmed with me on the 8th that it was cancelled.

Literally the same thing happened to me with the Trilogy boxset. I pre-ordered it, then cancelled it because I didn't have the money (and they confirmed it was cancelled), then I re-ordered when I did have the money. Ended up getting sent two

To sell it off to another GD fan for 150-200 would even be a sweet deal. I'd totally keep it though, system error, I doubt they will come for it or charge you now. I would totally just be like, nope, cancelled it, it never came! Was listening to AI on cassette last night, felt like I went back to 2004 when it was released and got it on tape. Aside from there being no lyrics, the AI cassette is cool. Don't really like how they turned the 21CB cover sideways with the album title on the side, as opposed to shrinking it all to the cover. The cassettes themselves are nice, all the album logos and stuff are right on the cassettes which I like. It's fun to get high and let the LED's trip you out while listening to them or other shit!

I don't know about the first part, but I received it 4 or 5 days after it was released and it came well packaged. Yeah I know the boombox is definitely overpriced, but this is a great thing to get if you're a Green Day fan and have some money to spend. Plus, this box set got me into cassette tapes, man they are fascinating .

I hope they don't stiff you large on shipping, credit charge , taxes and with the money change, I got reamed to be quite frank however I like the set, it makes me happy so I don't care

Fortunately, the UK store has it in stock which meant the only additional cost was £8.99 shipping... with a free sheet of GD wrapping paper!

Although, because I can't allow myself too much joy, I went looking for reviews of the Boombox and found out it only costs like $50 if you just buy it from Amazon. Sooooo, $200 for 12 cassettes? Actually, let's say the custom case they come in costs $20, that'd make each cassette $15. Which, having had a look around eBay at the price the older cassettes are going for, is pretty good!

So, on balance, it's a really good deal! *he repeats over and over as he sits in the shower, holding his knees, rocking back and forth. Continues to drink the Kool-aid*

At least I'm not WALKING ALONE. Horrible puns aside I've listened to almost all of their albums on cassette now, Revolution Radio, you're next. Also this is the second time I've bought their albums, for some it's the third, and I actually do not regret spending 266 dollars, but I still hate the fact that the boombox was overpriced. Plus, I still wish they would've released 1,039 smoothed Out Slappy Hours, but since they didn't, maybe combine the two EPs , and I Want To Be Alone, and also add Shenanigans with D.U.I.
If not, the EP idea, maybe release Demolicious as well. But I've found all of these cassettes, it's just a matter of being able to buy them. Although it would be nice for the official store to sell cassettes. Sorry about the small paragraph, those were just some ideas and frustrations I had.

It arrived! But now I gotta go through customer service as the boombox won't turn on. Gutted.

You found the chord in the battery compartment and plugged it in? Just making sure. It has a warranty with it so I'm sure you could get another one. By the way, if the chord is plugged in, the boombox is still operating even if it's turned to off. If you listen carefully you can hear it. To keep it working longer I'd suggest unplugging it when it's not in use.

Been rocking the cassettes like crazy, the old one's sound especially killer on the boombox. Put my old Dookie cover in the new cassette case with the new tape. The cover is just weird, looks like someone colored it in with the wrong shades, and has no lyrics so I'm just using new one as a backup. The cassette is killer though, and aside from the Dookie booklet, the others are all pretty cool. They are all three piece foldouts, that's it. Cool how they managed to include lyrics for some of them in that amount of space.

As I suspected my girlfriend got me the set, but it was missing the stickers and wrapping paper. She was not pleased.

Check the bottom of box in a cardboard envelope! They are there, they blend in with the box very well.

The box is long gone but she assured me she looked very thoroughly in both boxes but found nothing.
