At least I caught some of it... I'm very happy to hear that they really enjoy playing Forever Now live, gives me hope that we'll get to hear it in January Same! I really want to hear it live. ... Am I the only one who is kind of annoyed by the way Billie answers questions about Clinton? I'd like to hear something else than "Trump's worse and she didn't win anyway".
bouncingoffthewallbja Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Damn it why was I sitting through an Applied Maths class while this was going on?!?! Fml
bouncingoffthewallbja Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Thanks @Whatsername_123 for posting the Q&As!!! I was sitting through a boring, monotonous, repetitive class while I should have been here enjoying myself, this thread and the Q&A!

Critical discussion of Hillary made sense before the election, and it would have made sense had she won the election, but focusing on that now is distracting from the much larger issues at play. It's like complaining you've lost a race because you pulled a muscle halfway. It doesn't matter when the race is already over

It doesn't matter when the race is already over I understand why he says that and it does make sense but I'd like to know what his opinion about her was nevertheless.

I think he said something like he didn't vote for her, but he voted against Trump, so maybe he doesn't really feel like defending her actions or something. I think it was more of the only option for him to vote for her, as for many other people. Not sure
jengd Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 I though he'd been quite clear the he's not the biggest Clinton fan and he'd backed Bernie Saunders.
DeJennsitized Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 I think Billie did what a lot of people did - voted for Hillary because it was the only viable way to stop Trump. Those backing Bernie either did this or voted third party/didn't vote, in protest. I think the lack of unity in the democrats was a big problem this election. And I see his point about Hillary now being obsolete - this wasn't about a Clinton loss, it was about a Trump win and what that now means for America.
Hermione Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 Billie supported and said he was voting for Hilary. In the Zane Lowe interview he spoke highly of her and said she was the "only choice" to vote for as far as he was concerned, and on Instagram he said he was proud to be "with her" on more than one occasion. He was voting against Trump but was also pro-Clinton, even if he would've preferred Sanders. I agree that the reason he's not discussing her now is that it's now obsolete and he doesn't see it as useful.
