Most definitely Forever Now - who the fuck is Juliana homicide?  I say that with peace and love.  Forever Now is definitely a better written song in terms of the fact that Dirty Rotten Bastards isn't as well written. :)  Anyway, whoever voted for DRB over Forever Now is wrong.  Peace and love.

Juliana was a major charector on the big show Homicide Life On The Street (which set the course for the show Law & Order...)

It's funny how when JOS and Homecoming were thrown into the mix no one thought to say 21st Century Breakdown or American Euology. But especially 21st Century Breakdown, I'd have it right up there with the best of the multi-part songs.

DRB For the win.

My order of best to worst Green Day Suites:

1. JOS

2. 21st Century Breakdown

3. Dirty Rotten Bastards

4. Forever Now

5. Homecoming

6. American Eulogy

Its definitely jarring to me and at least hopefully a few others to jump from JOS...DRB....then to FN as comparables. How the hell does American Eulogy not get any love here???

Either way Forever Now is truly the perfect blend of a multi part song, I'm almost curious to see how it places up to JOS in ten years....

I've always thought that the obsession with DRB comes from peoples' longing for another JOS type song. While DRB was pretty cool compared to the rest of the music that came with it, it is only a shadow of what people were longing for. Forever Now is a true realization of what people were wanting in terms of a long song with multiple parts that blend together. That's not to say that DRB is bad, it's just not quite as cohesive as Forever Now.

I never got the obsession with DRB. I can agree with the thought that fans were just wanting another epic long song, and a few parts are catchy but it's just meh for me. Clearly I chose Forever Now.

I love all their suites, but DBR is definitely last on the list for me.

WTF does that have to do with the song and what Billie is singing in regards to that song.  Fuck the show Law and Order.  We're talking about a song that William Joseph was fucked up on pills and alcohol when writing the song.  What the fuck does O.K. stand for?  Great lyric.  Peace and love.  Now zen.   And why the fuck do you have tell everyone you're white?  Whateva, In my silly opinion, and I actually think THE Tre Cool would agree, Forever now is the better song.

Dirty Rotten Bastards is my favorite off the entire trilogy, but I think Forever Now is better. The lyrics to Forever Now are fucking awesome! I also think that Forever Now flows a bit better than DRB. Both are great though!

Forever now definitley. Love that song.

Forever now. To me it's like comparing brussels sprouts to pizza.

Forever Now is so much catchier, meaningful. it's not even fair.

Forever Now, because it feels 'finished' and less like three first-draft songlets fused together. Besides, Forever Now actually makes sense in a broader album context, something which DRB and the Trilogy as a whole lacks. Forever Now is Billie taking a look back on the quandaries of the past four years with a clear mind. DRB is a product of pills and alcohol which is actually quite epic sonically (particularly the bass solo).

Dirty Rotten Bastards seems like a warm up song for something greater.

My most declarative and unwavering Unpopular Opinion of this entire era is going to be that Forever Now is completely overrated on here.

DRB is superior by far. Forever Now wishes it could join the ranks of the combo songs. Not quite there.

Even though I do (for the most part) enjoy DRB, I'd have to give this one to Forever Now! The meaning behind the song and the musicianship is fantastic! It feels like a cohesive song with various parts that were made for one another. I particularly love the fact that even though Rev Rad isn't a concept album/rock opera, the song links back to Somewhere Now with the "how did a life on the wild side ever get so dull?" going to "how did a life on the wild side ever get so full?" parts.

Tré said he saw this track change so many times, and I am glad it did, because Forever Now is truly a masterpiece!!

I love some Dirty Rotten Bastards, but Forever Now is better musically, lyrically and more inspired.  Its also 26 second longer.

I wish that Forever Now and Somewhere Now had been one giant song, but perhaps we'll get a justifiable 11 minute+ song from them one day.

Scars.   Broken.  Baby Hooligans.

Lights.   Minds.  Flashing in the dark.

Broken Hearts .

Well if we're going THAT direction.....American Eulogy because Mike sings lead on that one, and he should be singing lead on everything.   He's the heart, soul and bicep of The Green Day band.

He's definately the one looking out for Billie, that's for damn skippy.

Forever Now and DRB have some lyrical similarities to me, but DRB is pretty boss compared to Forever Now, just my opinion.

'I wanna start a revolution' VS 'Fuck the world this is my revolution' 😛

Aye, hard to tell for this one. Dirty Rotten Bastards is my favorite song in the trilogy but Forever Now is my favorite song in Revolution Radio.  I'm going to have to both a tie between both.

His name is  Billie joe not William joseph.
