https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=f2EGYrHiAMQ  Really? Cause last I knew this was what about today. A completely different song than I linked to previously.

That's World vs. World, mislabled as What About Today. They are two different songs, they just both happen to be unreleased.

There is no walk away from C&V djrossstar has confirmed he meant to say WASTE away

Also can we really consider goodnight New York? It was only written for the AI encore

Thanks! Nice to have that cleared up. I'll update my list. I'll take that one off too, it's just a Billie song, not Green Day.

I believe that's a cover of a Charles Manson song, but I'm not positive.

Oh god nooo that would be a terrible thing for people to think.

It's not Manson's actual "Mechanical Man" song, but a new song they did for Live Freaky Die Freaky that had completely different lyrics. Different song, named after it. And technically speaking, is only attributed to Billie (to my knowledge) not Green Day as a whole.

That would be awful for anyone to think they just covered a psychotic mass murderer's song just because, good lord.

It'd make perfect sense though, since Live Freaky Die Freaky is based on Manson's murders.

Well of course, but I mean for them to just spontaneously cover a Manson song with no relation to anything else would be weird.

And ultimately, I'm sure they would have had to go through copyright issues to actually cover/use his actual song and, as purposefully fucked up as John Roecker is, I doubt he would do anything that would actually benefit Manson.

I had always just thought (Angel) Blue was renamed for Uno- is there actually a separate song titled Baby Blue?

Yes. It was shown on the tracklists in Cuatro, and then Billie gave it up to These Paper Bullets

I remember Butch Vig said Billie wrote a song called "wonderful" after Obama won the election to become president. He said any rock band would love to have a song like it, but Billie said it didn't fit the theme of 21st Century Breakdown.

Edit: Nevermind it was already mentioned on that list.

I would actually really like to hear that song and if it would have fit on the album after See the Light.

If you saw MTV : The Ride when they were talking about Good Riddance, they showed a board with songs that needed overdub and had some new songs like:

You Irritate me

Idiot

Tony The Tiger

Ugly Day

Slow

Goodbye to Romance is an Ozzy Osbourne cover that they played at the Tiki Bar. There's a bad quality recording on youtube if you want to listen :) If you remember where in Cuatro you saw "Ready to Go Home", could you post a screenshot?
