Red Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 With the announcement that Chris Cheney is doing St Jimmy, I officially have to get my ass over there somehow and throw together enough money to get return tickets and a ticket to show. It wouldn't be such a big deal if I wasn't already going to all the Aus Green Day shows. Ughhh but Chris Cheney!!!! Edit: It's official. I'm gonna do this. Borrowing money and going for it. Don't know which night I will go though, probably opening night just so I can say I did it. Is is anyone interested in doing a GDC meet up or something?

Come Friday night and I'll be there So I officially bought tickets to see the show on it's second night with Chris Cheney and the final night will Phil Jamieson And a little bit of random info - The Living End (Chris Cheney) and Grinspoon (Phil Jamieson) have both supported Green Day on previous Australian tours.
Wretched & Divine Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 Well. I just let myself be talked into this by Matt, on opening night. It didn't take much convincing to be honest I was just in you last week, but I'll be back in a month, Brisbane.

I will have to see how I am doing as far as money goes before I book for that show though.
Liam Posted January 17, 2017 Author Posted January 17, 2017 Depending on what happens with work I might still come opening night

belinda jane Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 it was shit. the only person that asked anything semi relevant to the musical was FiFi Box and i can't stand her. also, "do things get wild when TLE and GD come together".. um, mind your own business?

He likes to get the digs in when he can. Maybe but not live in studio - they seem to be scoring a lot of the live acts when they are here. Reminds me of Rove.

Liam Posted February 9, 2017 Author Posted February 9, 2017 So they've announced another week of shows (still with Phil Jamieson) which means I no longer have tickets to the final show....yet. I actually walked past QPAC last night and they were displaying promo images for the musical (and others) on the side and they've also lit the building up green. I actually got really excited and may or may not have taken a picture of one of the smaller posters on the ground level
