bloodymurderbitch Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 I really love Body Bag! I want a good quality version to listen to, yesterday.

It's different when it shows him playing it on acoustic.
tdlyon Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Which song was Fever Blister? I just watched the movie and only noticed Devil's Kind, Ordinary World, and Body Bag in the credits. Don't remember there being a fourth song BJ sang
Guest Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Devil's Kind is better than all of RevRad combined in my opinion. I love it.

It'd be cool if there was a Green Day version on the soundtrack. Maybe that plays during the credits. Nobody would notice since nobody watches the credits
RougeRogue Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 I know it's "diary of madness" but I can't un-think "diarrhea madness" every damn time. And I have to wonder if that was a purposeful pairing of words.

MaraGreenDay Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 I'm so in love with Devil's Kind! But I'm glad it wasn't on RevRad. It definitely has a FBHT vibe.
Haushinka! Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Honestly, i've probably listened to Devil's Kind more than any song on Rev Rad. I'm obsessed!

iScottie Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 I was unaware that this 41 Ocean thing existed. I'm glad it does!

Unpolished and just one guitar and one vocal track.
Big Neil Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 I LOVE THESE SONGS!!!! So the guy (Billie Joe) can still write like this. I like these better than the songs off Revolution Radio. I'm not saying I don't like the new record. Just I love this other type of writing more. Nostalgic, wistful, fun, love story Billie Joe writing is my favourite. i hope the next Green Day release is a Foxboro Hot Tubs record. Or a trilogy like record but not as big so people don't freak out & discourage this type of writing. I miss that vibe. I love when I can feel like Billie Joe is saying what he's feeling in the moment/not in character so much. Devil's Kind and Body Bag make me feel. Like a grown up but a kid and I think he feels it too. He's so good when he writes like this. A forty-something-year-old man who's still got a lot of life & party & love. Love it!

I'm totally in love with this song. It's got a dreamy summer vibe about it. I love Devils Kind too! Damn I wish Les Skunks had recorded an album...would have been better than Revrad
Ric503 Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Devil's Kind is one of my favorite musics to play on guitar right now!
