That's what I do when I sleep in light rooms - I just take a corner of the blanket and put it over my eyes.

There's no way he does laundry every night so I think that information has to be classified as super gross! Oh, Billie... I thought of that as well, Jim Morrison was legendary for stinking. I know Billie doesn't stink, but damn why would you admit that??
Steven Seagull Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Billie was the smelly kid. He didn't drop out of high school, he was kicked out because he though Axe would make the smell go away.
DoodleBob Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 He probably has like 4 pairs of the same pants. I think (*cough* hope *cough*) that's what he meant.

Poor Billie isn't quite as awkward as he seem to think he is. Most people wouldn't be able to handle themselves so well in interviews and while meeting fans all the time. He's charming-awkward, not awkward-awkward.
Hermione Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I thought the fact that Billie wears the same pieces of clothing day after day/year after year/decade after decade was well known? He obviously doesn't mean it completely literally. Although I do remember an interview where he was asked what the longest he'd ever gone without showering was where he said a month and added that he thought deodorant was a con, lol. Edit: Bit OT but I just had to hunt down that interview. He does also say in it he doesn't think he can beat a record of wearing the same pants for 2 months, so there's that (right click and open image in new tab to make it readable)
BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Wait...do you all wear pants just once and then wash them? Because I don't.
stories and songs Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I like how he lists the illegal things he has done among his "facts." I'm sure Us Weekly gets that all the time.

Billie Hoe Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I used to sleep with a towel on my face when I was younger It made me feel protected for some reason, I could hide from the world (my sister and I shared a room so I was never really alone) and it felt really nice on my face. I think the weight that is added on your body adds to comfort. I know a shirt isn't really heavy but since the fabric is so light it fits to your face and touches it everywhere. Touch = comfort That would be my explanation. And I can absolutely imagine him being totally awkward in social situations. Of course he has years of experience in the biz and has grown accustomed to interviews and has learned how to deal with them. Being on stage is also a completely different thing. But self confidence really doesn't radiate from him when we see him on television. He has his weird quirks, playing with his hands, sometimes stuttering and "uhm"ing. How he feels and how he acts can be totally different Of course I can't personally know but I think he tends to be quiet and a little withdrawn in social situations. Might be an anxiety thing as well. Also their first Facebook live stunt was totally awkward Cute as hell but awkward.

Idk lol, a blanket it's too big and it will get you hot on spring-summer plus it's more easier to find a shirt in the dark Btw I just remembered that I still do this when I'm sick haha.
PursuitOfEpicness Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Billie is honestly such a huge nerd. I can't lie, I do wear my pants a lot over and over if they're not dirty at all haha but the t shirt over the head...?

True, I mostly do this when it's not too hot in the room. But for me, it's warmth and softness = comfiness so it's usually ok. Blankets are so nice and soft.
Mücki Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 I think he just means his ''on-stage-pants''... like work trousers
RedundantIdiot Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Sleeps with at shirt over his head?! Why doesn't he just get an eye mask? He must need it to be total darkness. Being stung by a load of jellyfish would really hurt though.

Idk, I need total darkness or I can't sleep but I don't like having something wrapped around my eyes tightly like a blindfold. Loosely covering up the whole face is nicer. Also, why is no one talking about his pet squirell. It's adorable. 17 hours ago, Hermione said: I thought the fact that Billie wears the same pieces of clothing day after day/year after year/decade after decade was well known? Hell Cat Troll Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 He probably doesn't remember doing it he did say in his RS interview that he's a blackout drinker and we all know how wasted he used to get before they got on stage.

Or maybe he just didn't want to scare off potential concert goers.
Billie Hoe Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 I totally forgot I made this but do you remember his instagram videos about his pets? This might be the squirrel
spark in the night Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 aw! I wonder if it's still on his page, I'll go look haha
