Sarcasm Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I've been to that Hot Topic once before. The morning after I went I was headed to Nevada, so I missed an MCR signing there. I'm still sort of bitter, even though this happened in 2010.
billiesblue Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Does anyone know if people will be starting to line up super early? Because i can be there like at around 11am and I'm worried that I won't be able to get there in time for a wristband.
sara_gd Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 If anyone has an extra wristband for some reason... it's on my birthday! I'm willing to pay up to $100 and I don't want the album as I have 2 copies already.
Rumpelstiltskin2000 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 So this is happening later today? Nope I keep telling myself that it's going to be a generic meet and that when I finally meet them it will be much cooler and personal... not working Ah damn. Oh well. I'm in San Francisco so not a bad place at all for my birthday
sara_gd Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 There's a girl giving out a wristband only to LA locals. Dani Lasser. I don't know if she still has it, but if I would contact her quickly if I was from LA https://www.facebook.com/daniella.lasser @Klauplunk1039 @Paola Gómez

Dakke Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 That guitar is going to be worth a couple of hundred bucks more now
Joe K Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 They seem very good with people here. like they take their time with the person they're talking to. This is lovely to see!
Virtuous Xman Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 im still bummed about that. I live not to far from holy wood and if I had known about the wristband i would have called off of work for it. My son and me wanted to go. Not to mention my mom yelling at me about not going saying "that's your favorite band for decades and you went to work over them". Just wasn't meant to be, but still a drag.
PursuitOfEpicness Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 LA as usual gets everything Hope whoever got to go had a great time meeting them!

stories and songs Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 I'm so glad they Periscoped that, so lovely to watch! They were really sweet with everyone and seemed a lot happier to be there than I was expecting for some reason. These little shits have just been doing everything right lately.
TimmyChunks Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Awesome. From my very lucky experience in meeting them, they're all very genuine and exactly who they "seem" to be, which isn't always the case when meeting celebrities, for sure. They've been my musical idols since I was a kid/ young teen, and when I finally met them I was not disappointed in the least. I've written about it in much more detail before, but every one of them (including Jason) lived up to what any of us would have expected; Tre was zany but fun, Mike was guarded but very genuine and down to earth, and Billie was clearly a huge rockstar in person (with the requisite aura if that makes sense) but still relatable and probably the easiest to actually talk to out of the three. And Jason was humble as hell and would have talked all night- he almost seemed confused as to why I was enjoying the conversation so much and humbled by it. Good for you guys that got to see them tonight. For anyone here that hasn't met them- if this kind of opportunity happens again, please take advantage of it, you will not be disappointed! Meeting some other celebrities for me has been a letdown at times, but these guys are the real deal. When I met them I was nervous that it would ruin my feelings about the band- I thought there was a chance they'd either be cold or somehow it would be a letdown. I never thought it was possible, but I was probably at least 10x the fan after I had the chance to make the personal connection and thank them for the years of enjoyment. They'd been speaking to me through their music for so long, and it was awesome to finally speak back to them about how much it all meant.
MaraGreenDay Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 wtf that cat is living the dream and he looks so unimpressed
