I am not sure if the boys are still on a break or not, but since the trend of every four years is a thing, I would assume anywhere between 2028 and 2032 (that's weird to type out ).

I was looking at the most streamed songs and most streamed rock songs for all of history. Basketcase is the 543rd most streamed song on the planet. Pretty wild.

A 2028 release could then possibly mean they'd start teasing by the end of this year. If we actually go with the 2 years and 42 days. But yeah, they're still on a break and who knows for how long they want to chill.

Yes, i assumed theyd probably have a new album by 2028-2030... i think its a bit weird to think i'll be nearly out of school by then 🥲

I think he mentioned he wanted to take a break from Green Day after the Saviors tour to do something with a side project maybe. I can't remember if he mentioned Pinhead Gunpowder or if I was just hoping it would be that. 😅

It was where they played after the free show in Tichigan WI was shut down. August 8, 1991. The next day they played a matinee in Rockford, IL because FUGAZI, Nation of Ulysses, Naked Aggression, & Natural Cause were playing in Madison. A killer 2 day run of shows! I have few vinyls for decorative purposes already actually(I'm a huge Rick Astley fan and have his first album on vinyl and have enjoyed soft rickrolling people with it 😂). Ripping a cd is easier than ripping a vinyl though. 😅

It continues to be played live, 285 times since its first performance, the last time Sept' 28, '25 at Doheny State Beach, Dana Point. The first time July 22, '89 at Berkeley Square, Berkeley. There's been some good songs this year, but I'm ready for some great albums to drop. There's just not any massive releases that have been announced yet.

Just listening through to the album again for the first time in a while and I still love it. So sad I only ever got to see them play TADIKM and missed the rest of the tour (health and stuff).

I loved Saviors because It had a production more in 21cb way again, sounding big. We deserved It, after some albums with mid production.

Can anybody identify this record by the cover? It was the only 1 of 54 records I couldn’t figure out that was displayed last May at the 2-day Punk Bunny Coffee Kerplunk Kandy Speakeasy lounge in Los Angeles.

Bring back Butch they 100% can and should do a 21st Century Breakdown like album…can’t wait for that album’s anniversary.

21CB was a phenomenal album. The first time I listened to it I was blown away! It was (and still is) the most amazing album I have heard in my life. I wonder if Butch Vig did influence that. Of course, I suppose I am a bit biased, being from Madison.
