I had the music on shuffle earlier today and something odd happened. Green Day's Suzie Chapstick Acoustic came on immediately after The Network's Supermodel Robots and.....I had to bounce back and forth between them because.....I dunno. I guess I almost heard the similarly despite the vast difference in styles. Will The Network ever show us their faces? Is Brandon....I mean Spike doing okay?

As a not American and not a football fan the fuss about this every year baffles me slightly but fine, it seems like a good event for GD, politics aside. Looking at the political climate, it seems to me the NFL are making a fairly pointed statement with all their entertainment picks this year and I see lots of maga outrage. I hope they play AI and I hope Billie is his usual self and says something at some point. If Kristi Noemi’s threatening putting lots of ICE agents in the crowd I hope it doesn’t turn into a horrible, violent riot. That would be some juxtaposition while that line about “the land of the free” is being sung too! Hope it’s broadcast outwith US, I know the Super Bowl is but not sure about the surrounding events. Did they not play some sort of Super Bowl party last year too?

Just had a dream last night where me and my pops were eating lunch and homecoming came on in the place we were eating. They skipped the goofy tre part and i was pissed 😂

My IG feed was flooded with statements on the matter and I took the following information from that: It‘s the first time for the Super Bowl to have an opening ceremony, and it’s because of their 60 year anniversary. The organizers booked three acts that don’t go well with the MAGA crowd, beside Bad Bunny and GD there‘s Brandi Carlisle to sing the national anthem. She‘s openly queer and married to a woman. So I get the impression that the NFL maybe doesn’t like the current political climate and wants to make a statement? As for ICE raids I saw a statement by Kristi Noem herself that there will be lots of ICE agents in the stadium… So that seems to be true unfortunately… Edit: Carlisle will not sing the national anthem but „America the Beautiful“, the unofficial hymn. Still… Yes, I‘ve seen that too. And so many statements that this turns people into GD fans!😅 I very much hope that our band won’t disappoint the expectations…

I can't believe it either! They rarely do meet and greets now. I do know that cage, good charlotte, and sublime did them too. Not sure about the other bands tho. Was there ever a time they did meet n greets on tour?

EEEEEEE!!!! y'all the meet n greet was SO fast. The guys were so nice but didn't make conversation that much bc time me thinks. Billie said "you have my dog on your shirt!" I laughed and said he should bring the longshot back, we took the picture and I was out the room. I think they brought us to the pr room so the energy in there was so chaotic. Me and my brother were cheesing when we got back to our seats. He got a fist bump from Mike! The set was so fun! same ol songs but I was in need of a concert so I enjoyed it so much.

Well, at least that’s a dream that has a chance to become true!😁 Let’s hope so…
