The 99 Revolutions Tour shirt is the best one. The back: Also the commemorative 21st Century Breakdown Tour shirts for each show. And it's not a Green Day shirt, but a special mention for the Longshot tour shirt that I made3 points

Alright, alright, alright at Matthew would say. Billie Joe says to tell him when it's time.....and I'm telling ya right now, it's time! Time for an album 15 thread. Now that the guys have all that Saviors stuff out of their system, it's time to get back to that Father of All Trilogy vibe that we all love so much. But push it to the extreme this time. a massive, 30 disc set every month for 12 months - each packed with doowhoop, falsettos, lady cobras - but here's the twist! Every song will be brimming with features, swedish song writers, trap beats - and so much cut in the product it will sound like a horror flick. But for real, the biggest question for me at this moment is how the next album will be received. I know I'm gobbling up whatever these guys put out, but would Green Day put out a Father of All sounding record is that's where they are at again? A trilogy? Trying and failing is better than not trying. American Idiot was a huge swing and it could have flopped and turned them into the laughing stocks of Rock music But they tried something and it worked out. So I'm all for them trying out some different things. Who knows what Green Day will be going into the 2030s.3 points

Just a crazy post from someone who's crazy. We've had fav album, fav song, even fav live venue. But what's your fav Green Day Tee, that you just have to wear out and about, for all to see and wonder. Telling them that you just love the bestest and greatest punk rock band in the universe ever. And if you aint listened to them yet, well yer don't know what yer missin'. So, if yer not wearing a Green Day Tee today, well yer just not properly dressed. 🤪 Here's my top three.1 point

That's public perception. I love every note of every song they've ever done. Even their worst song "Haushinka" is pretty good. And as for their worst aspects as a band, maybe their album covers could use some work but yeah. They're the perfect band.1 point

Tut, tut @That Dude you can't use the word bad in association with GD being bad, it's just not allowed. As Mike famously said: "Listening to Green Day is like sex. When it's good, it's really good. When it's bad, it's still pretty dam good". 😜1 point

According to „Welcome to my panic“ he desperately tried to think of a perfect setlist for the show but didn’t succeed. So he went to the bar and began to drink…1 point

But you will always have the memories to recall of being there and living through it. It will never leave your heart and soul. Feel so lucky and privileged to see AI at Milton Keynes, and able to live through it again and again visually, with BIAB. Can't believe the adventure and magic goes on, living the dream with GD from Kerplunk and now through Saviors. What next? Bring it on. Life is Green Day. Love is Green Day, nothing else matters.1 point

I'm in a nuerodiverent group on Facebook, and I saw a post about Green Day. Someone was panicked, losing their child at a recent Green Day show. And while they were looking, they realized their kid was up on stage with the band having a blast and totally safe! I don't know if the kid sang or played guitar but that was a pretty cool post to see elsewhere. Pictures of Billie hugging their kid and a total happy accident.1 point

Really hard to believe it's been 21 years since American Idiot 🥹 That album will never stop blowing my mind, and I'm forever grateful that I was to lucky to have "found" it when it in my teens, that I got to see it played live in its entirety. Also, 1 year and 10 days since the last time I sawed it played live and at the same time I feel sad knowing I will probably never experience that again 🥺1 point

while i was searching for some lost green day content, i stumbled across a thread on the Lost Media Wiki forum about a lost radio version of holiday. essentially, back then lots of alternative rock songs had to be edited in order to comply with the pop radio stations censor. An example of this is Boulevard Of Broken Dreams which had one version which censored the profanities only, while the other had the bridge and solo removed thus making it a minute shorter than the original. The same thing happened to holiday, the pop radio edit removes the bridge/bass solo after the guitar solo at 2:17 and comes back into the final chorus at 3:03. i’ve seen recreations of the thing however from what I’ve read, that version of holiday is COMPLETELY lost. So i was wondering if anyone here possibly has it or atleast heard of it, I’m aware there’s a rule implemented regarding copyrighted material, but I’ve just been so CURIOUS about the entire thing since every discussion I’ve seen about it is from 4 years ago…1 point

I really wonder if green day is ever going to release some sort of anniversary compilation album for the trilogy… i know demolicious is a thing but that was just 20% of the songs in the trilogy with the inclusion of an unreleased demo (state of shock). As far as i can remember, billie did say that they wrote around 70 songs for the albums, so i really hope they one day release them… 🥹 I’m absolutely in love with them!!! (Would be even greater if it happened and billie played the songs on tour using that iconic glittery silver guitar he used around that era.. her name was xtina right?)1 point

People have been complaining that Billie only refers to Palestine in Jesus of Suburbia in countries where it won't go down badly, but I was just listening to the version from Lyon and he sang 'from Ukraine to Gaza.' Didn't even notice it in person so others probably didn't either, but yeah, I'm glad he actually did that in France.1 point
