  1. I also view it as reflecting on memories and the past and questioning decisions made by your former self - for me, dead skin represents what a person 'used to be'. there will always be something that reminds you of a memory, like how a tattoo is permanent

  2. Okay so I managed to get them all scanned. The 3rd one is an a3 poster and I only have an a4 scanner so I tried to match it up best i could all of the pictures are at 300dpi so they should print out nicely! I'll spoiler them because they're pretty big: oh kerrang and your puns my personal fav - 1 2 the big one - 3 mr cool - 4 feeling dirnty? - 5 dem socks - 6 (this one is p big) they were also mentioned a few times as well, there's a bit on political songs and a piece about rock against bush, i'll put those up tomorrow if any one is interested

  3. Try asking in the movie club too. You might get more responses there.

  4. That's actually a very good interpretation I could have never come up with

  5. It is an interesting line. I always thought that it meant to not forget but to let the past go. You have the tattoo which is permanent, but dead skin flakes off.

  6. Yeah, you're right. I'd love for them to write something 21st CB-esque to be honest, despite all the hate that album received when it came out and the consequent chaos it sparked in the fanbase -but that's something that's pretty much bound to happen anyway for almost every album any band releases. Plus, I saw Metallica play live 3 years ago, and I must say, at 50 years old, they could still put on a mean show. I'm seeing them again in less then a month, let's see what they can do at 53

  7. Honestly, this is really embarassing but, in Extraordinary Girl, I used to hear: "She's all alone again, wiping nachos from her eyes" (and I still do)

  9. While I'm not a huge Uno fan, I do think "Loss of Control is a fun song. And this is a fun performance.

  10. The album is truly over looked - there are some amazing lyrics. It's on repeat in my car at the moment.

  11. Sadly, this is where we disagree. Typically I'm not a fan, but there are always exceptions... like Jack Skellington Billie Joe!

  14. My brother was (attempting) to sing Holiday this morning and sang, "Hear those sounds as they do cocaine" as opposed to 'Hear the sound of the falling rain." I thought my misheard lyrics were embarrassing...

  15. Funny to think that a big portion of these misheard lyrics are from JoS. As a matter a fact, I have my own: "Like the lonely bitches of a shopping mall." It makes total sense too.
