  6. Sadly, I agree. Although the girl looks incredibly like my ex-best friend's new best friend, which is awkward. Unpopular opinion: my favorite cover of theirs behind A Quick One is Rip This Joint.

  7. Well, I agree with one of them. How that list could exist without Blink 182, The Offspring, Face To Face, Bodyjar or Jimmy Eat World is beyond me.

  13. Both albums are albums of selected songs no realbdead set theme like AI or 21st Both are simple non complex music It's no Dookie but compared to the previous 2 albums Uno is more like Dookie (and other GD albums excluding AI and 21st)

  14. Disagree wholeheartedly. Given what it did for their careers, they could stand to add one to the set. Whatsername would make a great encore.

  16. They did. Billie would tell stories during the intro, it was a fun live song. I still say cutting American Eulogy was a mistake.

  17. That one I'm actually willing to let go. It gives a sense of intentionally childish desperation. But... yeah.

  18. personally i find "someone kill the dj/shoot the fuckin dj/someone kill the dj/shoot the fuckin dj/someone kill the dj/shoot the fuckin dj" a brilliant piece of writing

  19. I think that's definitely an Unpopular Opinion. To go from lines like "Cold turkey's getting stale, tonight I'm eating crow" to "I like your BMW" is... interesting.

  22. Well before AI they were nearly done weren't they? That bond means something but I don't think it means Mike would just allow himself to be stepped over. Perhaps not lazy but he definitely made the wrong choices. The vocal filter and guitar tone combo was atrocious, it would have helped a little at least. For as much as i bash the trilogy, if they had released one 13 song album, even with the same production and such, it would have been a good album. Something like: Nuclear Family Stay the Night Rusty James Lazy Bones Brutal Love 8th Ave Serenade Missing You X Kid and select 5 of your favorites to fill an album that, despite the production, would have been enjoyable. We wouldn't have been questioning them this much I'm sure. I wouldn't rank this higher then anything except 39/Smooth though still.

  23. I think saying Green Day is being relegated in to "The Billie Joe Show" is an irrelevant argument because it was created out of a lot of assumptions that Mike and Tre are being squeezed out of the creative process. We know nothing of Green Day's creative process. We shouldn't pretend to. Billie could be the biggest ass in world but unless we know him personally I think it's unfair to assume he's pretentious, especially based on what we have to go on. But I agree that he may not be the type of person I'm friends with, doesn't mean he is a bad person.

  26. Like some other people have said, you have to wonder if this movie's ever going to be made. It's like the Second Coming, but much more important.
