  1. For me it feels quite natural to worry about your kids, no matter what position you have in life…

  2. brandensteineckert 2 years ago today @billiejoearmstrong sold me his ‘62 Chevy Nova II. This car has been in the @greenday family for 30+ years. I love it so much!! Thanks for trusting me with this Billie! Much love & respect https://www.instagram.com/p/DNPWRGHgWi4/

  3. Absolutely. Very deserved break. 🩷 Makes me happy to see how much it looks like they have enjoyed touring. ☺️

  4. I think we have to be ready for a prolonged quiet period. They have been touring for 18 months after all the work around releasing Saviors, they deserve time off.

  5. I could see Billie writing a song about the assassination attempt on Trump, like where he expresses his hatred for him while at the same time calling for the end of violence

  6. Ever since becoming a GD fan first thing I used to do in the morning was check GDC/GDA (and again multiple times a day). For years I tried to help keep the site going updating the picture threads but right now I'm taking a complete break (more or less) from the internet plus it's been so quiet on here for a few years now. Some days I don't even check in at all anymore or on Instagram or my Tumblr

  7. MUHUHUHAHAHAHA. It begins....well, the speculation about the speculation begins. Copilot first suggested that Green Day could put something out in the Winter of 2026, but I noticed that a short wait time like that includes the short gaps between Uno, Dos and Tre. Get rid of that and we're looking at 2027, sometime between April and June. But since the guys are getting older and they've said that they could use a little downtime after the Saviors stuff, I'm thinking late 2027 or early 2028. 2026 or 2027 could a good time for a side project or Mike Dirnt's Country Rap album or something. What will late 20s Green Day sound like? The end of a decade. We're headed into the 30s. WILD! Here's a throwback I just found from the Songs For Aholes Era: (fake tracklist, not mine) not my hero citizen reject solid state age of america chemical imbalance Faster Harder* The Queen Is Dead Waving the Red Flag

  8. Why would he not worry about his kids? I don’t think your occupation dictates how much you care.

  9. I just think chatting on the forum feels more natural, but I’m not of the TikTok generation.

  15. It gets really quiet sometimes, of course it does, but it’s good to be able to see others are suffering through the drought too and we can commiserate with each other and if nothing else, go back to talking about Billie Joe’s hair 😂😂

  16. Very random but I’m so glad to see this forum is still somehow active. I’m surprise forums on the internet still exist at all 😂 I remember being here when I was in highschool, in like, 2014? I think, and using so much google translate. I can’t for the life of me remember what username I had or what email address I used, but I distinctively remember the fangirl thread lol, I was surprised that was still active as well 😂 A lot of life has happened in 10 years, I finished highschool, a masters, had 3 jobs, changed countries, came back, left again, but this summer was very hard for me, with a lot of changes, and like any other time when life was hard, I turned to Green Day for comfort. Needless to say the old Green Day obsession came back and hit full force, more than usual, because I don’t think it ever left, it just got a little quieter 😂 And I said, why the hell not, let’s make an account here and interact with the fandom for a bit, until it quiets again. Glad to see so many people still around, some usernames I even recognize haha.

  18. They have a show in three days. They were touring and doing other stuff pretty much nonstop until the short break though. They deserved a rest

  19. I always love it when I see Cone McCaslin from Sum 41 comment on the guys posts. Here he's commented 🔥 on Billie's post from the Ottawa show the other night. We met him in the airport in DC back in 2010 on our way to see GD in Phoenix and he told us he'd been at the Toronto show and how good it was. Here's Billie's post where you can see Cone comment. I see Deryck Whibley commenting sometimes too https://www.instagram.com/p/DMToyvByBIh/?igsh=MXFubWxib2IxYjM5dQ==
