The last day in a comments section in a youtube video that had nothing to do with Green Day, someone noted how they kept mistyping something and said "I feel like Billie Joe at the start of Good Riddence" or something like that. It made me smile

I think this video clearly shows that they recorded the Wembley concert. (the description confirms that) It's the perfect time for a new live album. They're still at their peak, having played their biggest solo show yet, playing Idiot and Dookie in their entirety, plus the release of Saviors. It's the kind of material that needs to be released to demonstrate the scale of this band. I was there, and the atmosphere was completely special, even in the days before the show, with so many people walking the streets wearing Green Day shirts. It felt like 2005 all over again.

Yes please! I know they record performances without ever releasing them a lot but I want Wembley . Surely they have to put out a live album/film for such a monumental tour and when it's 14 years since the last one

I've never complain about new Green Day. *however* live albums are my least favorite kind of album. How many live versions of Basketcase and Brainstew can possibly exist in the world? lol. I understand that Shenanigans only exists because Green Day were self destructing after warning, and we probably won't ever get another b-sides collection. but live albums and demolicious are just un-fancy sauce in my opinion. That being said, take my money and crawl, Billie Joe!
