Out of the blue my mom texts me "hey...does Green Day have a song called Underdog?" She just saw the Nat geo ad! 😆 She said she recognized Billie's voice and was like I don't know that Green Day song!! Love that she knows Billie's name and recognizes his voice but refers to Mike and Tre as Mike Dirt and the other one...Mr Cool? 😆5 points

Very nice high quality video from Pop Disaster era just popped up on YT4 points

After yesterday‘s show I needed to come here. I don’t have photos right now. But if you see some you’ll have to appreciate the short sleeves! And the shirt in itself was great with the print Rage and Love on the back! Besides I liked Billie‘s hair, reminded me of the 21CB era, just in blonde… And Mike in red looked fantastic too!4 points

Billie when the kid played Wonderwall instead of Good Riddance 😂😂😂 He’s had so many mishaps I’m surprised he still lets people up to do that. What a sport https://www.instagram.com/reel/DLimKjTt1d4/?igsh=MWxleDd6cnRtOGw1MA==4 points

That was a fun show! Never thought I'd hear I Was There again. That was probably the highlight although Bobby Sox is always a highlight. I also feel like people on social media are overreacting about the Good Riddance guy. It was obviously silly to go up when he didn't know the song well enough to play under pressure, but it was funny! Billie laughed it off. Hardly some unforgivable act of disrespect. At least we got to hear Billie playing it3 points

Billie's looking fine as always 🥰 It's funny I started rocking a polka dot shirt with a vest ala 21CB because of Billie. It's one of his looks I actually look good in 😆 the creepers? That's another story 😬2 points

Hilarious . I can't stand how people on Instagram take fans getting up on stage SO seriously and act like the crime of the century has beem committted because someone did a bad job or got kicked off for being silly instead of a REAL FAN being up there, it's beyond cringe.2 points

Yes! It's the first time I see an organizer actually take into account fans' feedback or try to support the fan-organized queue numbering system. Really 10/10 for the two Vienna shows. The merch is okay. I'm still pissed that they sell so many VIP tickets that the only way to get first row is with a VIP ticket though 🙄 Great for me since I can afford it and still queue. Not fair to the fans who cannot afford it though.2 points

i am curious how they prepared for these random deep cuts at the european tour i guess they practised all of the deep cuts they wanted to play weeks before the tour and now just randomly choose a song for a show1 point

what a show! what a heat! ive seen GD multiple times since 2009, it never gets old, but i have to admit that they have the "problem" of having too many (old) hits, their touring setlist barely changes my highlight was I Was There, i never expected to hear this song live, i love the oldschool songs, i knew they probably gonna play some "deep cut" song but getting I Was There was *insane* i looked up the statistics for this song at setlist fm, seems like since they released it back in the early 90s, they only played this song (now) 5 times in the last 30+ years! i am very thankful luxembourg got this gem, and it sounded perfect this will probably be one of my most memorable GD live show moments ever1 point

Yes, totally agree. Love Billie’s shirt and Mike in red 🔥1 point

I mean, I subconsciously called Novacaine being a C&V-era song, even if now i do think its Sleepyhead (hense why despite it being confirmed, Sleepyhead wasnt on the AI B-Sides disk) if any song from the trio was on C&V, besides Dropout and MAYBE parts of Oh Love and Lazy Bones, it would honestly be Dirty Rotten Bastards1 point

I was there looked amazing🥰 Happy for everyone who got to hear it. ☺️1 point

Green Day really need a song that starts with Z. There are some common words that begin with the letter. Zoo. Zippydoda. Zippo. Zealot. Zebra. Zigzag. Zany. Zin. Zeros. Zoom. If Green Day don't have a Z song drop by 2027, I'm going to be very angry with them. 😄1 point

I think the majority of fans at a GD concert are mostly fans who know Westbound Sign and Haishkina and would love for album cuts. I don’t know if the band realizes that but when the play Brat, Stuart and the Ave, Scattered, Armatage Shanks, Worry Rock, parts of Redundant in the encore listen the fans sing along and go crazy same with Disappearing boy and one of my lies I just think they underestimate the fans love of their album tracks. Is just like to see them not just play the same stuff over and over on the 21st Century Breakdown tour they’d play album Cuts and at the time Drama Queen which was unreleased as well as Olivia and Minnesota Girl. I wish they’d understand how loved those songs are. Even Last Nigh On Earth gets a great response and that somehow wasn’t a single Murder City got good responses too. It’s wild how many deep cuts never have been played live. They should do their own era’s tour1 point

I noticed that the men in the Loudwire comment section are also obsessed with his height (not tall enough to actually fight anyone) and the fact that he’s wearing makeup (not masculine enough). Life must be just great if that’s what you base your self value on 😂.1 point

Somehow this was the 3rd time for me hearing Stuart and the Ave live 😅 But I love Insomniac getting some of the love it deserves anyways 86 and Forever Now were the songs I wanted the most from their respective albums (well, technically Panic Song from Insomniac would top 86 for me, but I know they will never play that one live). The Redundant snippet was also 🥹1 point

I bought the tour poster and FINALLY a foam finger. Been looking for one since I've seen them in Bullet in a Bible and never got the chance to get any of the many they had. 20 years later, I'm a proud Green Day foam finger...holder!1 point

Same here. They're talented, no doubt about it, but it was not for me. The mumbling was a bit annoying and a little more crowd interaction ("wave your hands", "sing along", etc.) would've been great for the mood. But I have witnessed worse (The Baseballs in 2013) and I'm not a pessimistic opening band-basher.1 point

Talking about oh shit moment. I'm in total shock when I heard 80 in Florence1 point

I'm so happy they are playing it still. I heard TADIKM, Look Ma and Dilemma last summer, but I think OEB, Dilemma and Bobby Sox is a better combo. I have just realized how crazy concerts of last summer were, we got like 10 plus deep cuts in one show. Doesn't happen a lot, in 2017 we got maybe 4, in 2022 maybe 2 if 2000 Lights Years Away counts and now we seem to be getting 2. I love that they rotate those 2 songs around, as you have no idea what they will play and it might be like a oh shit moment. I personally wish to hear The Grouch and something from 21st Century Breakdown. What's interesting is that in Stockholm 2022, they had FOAM written on the setlist, but played 2000 Light Years Away instead.1 point
