There shouldn't be outside shows in Scandinavia. 😂 The rain and the wind.. Even with a rainponcho parts of my clothes got wet and they still are. Luckely it's a short flight to Oslo. This was definitely one of the coldest shows for me. I went to this festival last year as well and the layout is weird. There's GA and premium tickets and parts of the premium area is very close to the bands' area of the festival. I thought there was a line for the bathroom several times but after a while I realized that there were fans who was trying to see the bands and at least one lady tried to cross over to the band's area. Security got her but I don't get what their thought process was here. There was an opening between GA and premium where Security went back and forth - and crew members and family members went walking by too. They didn't watch the show from sidestage but from these tents close to where the cameras for the stage was. Right before they went on Adrienne walked by us and a couple of songs into their set Sara walked by as well. They played Brat 😁 Love when Insomniac songs get's played and it's not just Brain Stew/Jaded. They also played Fuck off other than that the setlist was like the other shows. When making the introduction for the band Billie Joe also included himself and said "I'm Billie". He kept saying "tack" which means thank you. It's very similar in Norwegian and Danish too, so I'm guessing he'll keep saying the same for those shows too. The part of Hitchin' a ride where they usually stop for a longer time to get the crowd pumped up - it wasn't skipped but it felt rushed compared to the other shows. Don't think anyone who was there as a casual listener noticed. No stagedive for KYE because of the rain and how slippery the stage was. Before Bobby Sox, Billie Joe thanked us for waiting in the rain. He said it right before he started the song and mixed up the first and second verse. He laughed and said "I messed up" and started the song over again. I'm hopefull for a better weather at Tons. 🤧5 points

I have nothing against Fuck Off, would love to see it live. But not at the expense of it permanently occupying one of the two "random" deep cut slots, reducing it to only one song changing from night to night. I want my two surprise songs for the upcoming shows! It that means dropping Fuck Off, then so be it. 😅4 points

how about this 2 Deepcuts, and then a rotation between Belushi, Underdog, Stay Young, Ballyhoo and Fuck Off instead of Brain Stew/Jimmy or whatever2 points

Yes! It's the first time I see an organizer actually take into account fans' feedback or try to support the fan-organized queue numbering system. Really 10/10 for the two Vienna shows. The merch is okay. I'm still pissed that they sell so many VIP tickets that the only way to get first row is with a VIP ticket though 🙄 Great for me since I can afford it and still queue. Not fair to the fans who cannot afford it though.2 points

They didn’t play it in Vienna at all. The „Fucking off“ began in Germany…😂 And I hope they will change it again!2 points

Not gonna lie, I'm a bit jealous that I wasn't there for Brat, I love that song. But I'm with you on the love for Insomniac being played beyond Brain Stew and Jaded. I've said so many times that I wished for them to show some love to that album this year, with it being its 30th anniversary. I feel they are low key doing that, without making a big fuss about it I hope they keep two songs rotating though, rather than Fuck Off staying in the setlist as a replacement for one of the rotating songs. Also, hope you're feeling better for Tons !2 points

🩷🩷 Yes, it's weird. Last year I went to see BMTH. Some of their crew members sat in the Premium area to eat and watch other bands. It didn't look like anyone was bothering them though which was good. It was probably a better view of the stage for them and obviously their choice to sit there but it's definitely different compared with other festivals. Thank you. 🩷 I got a small cold after Vienna and it's sticking. 🤭 I'm going to be in the VIP area at Tons so I think it will be good. The weather seems to be better and it's pretty easy for me to get back home afterwards. Hope the band is doing okay after playing two festivals in a row in the rain. 🤞🩷2 points

Seriously, how did he spit that much?! I surprisingly just saw that video a couple of hours ago ahahah. He must have been brewing it for a while2 points

I remember that and all the debate about the huge amount of spit he produced 😂2 points

I think the one billion streams only refer to the single version. There’s also a single version of Holiday, so the streams of the album version with the transition are not included.1 point

ya i dont need any of those deluxe songs at their upcoming shows i could name dozens of other (deep cut) songs which would fit better i didnt see the complete current setlist, i guess they only play the "singles" of saviors? coma city, goodnight adeline or suzie chapstick would be a welcome surprise too 🙂 i guess king for a day got dropped for the current tour? not having those 6+ minutes setlist junks like JOS would be a nice change too, nothing against seeing JOS live, but it gets played almost every time, they could drop JOS and do a deep cut set of other songs instead1 point

Not as far as I know. He did say it was something he doesn't usually do. Maybe he tried to change it up since we were standing in the rain all day? Tbh, I thought he was kidding with the hand gesture he made at the end. I thought it meant done/close it down. But inbetween my contacts moving around and the damn rainponcho after god knows how many hours who knows. 😂 I'm sorry you had a drunk guy next to you.🩷 I saw the guards carrying out a man because he was so drunk. Don't understand why people like that bother going to shows.1 point

Glad I ended up bringing my rain coat, even though it got a bit humid and gross after a while. 😅 The crowd was very active and that was really fun, but I was a bit surprised by how crowdy it was; I was maybe 15 rows or so from the stage if not more but it was still hardly any room to move. Met some lovely people but also had a guy standing next to me who was so drunk (honestly can't believe he was able to stand on his legs) who made the waiting in between the last sets quite unpleasant. LOVED that they played Brat. I've been listening to it a lot lately so it was such a pleasant surprise. It's such a fun song and they should play it more often!! One thing I didn't like was when Billie encouraged the crowd to film during Good Riddance. Didn't see that many phones (compared to other shows I've attended) during the rest of the set and when so many actually did as he said it ruined the ending a bit for me. Has he done so at other shows as well? Hope it was a one time thing.1 point

I noticed tre had his robe on for good riddance, maybe he didn’t want to be cold either haha1 point

Thank you for your account of the show. This setup of ticket areas sounds...interesting! Let's hope you all didn't catch a cold, the band included! And have fun at your home festival!1 point

I bought the tour poster and FINALLY a foam finger. Been looking for one since I've seen them in Bullet in a Bible and never got the chance to get any of the many they had. 20 years later, I'm a proud Green Day foam finger...holder!1 point

So Billie got into it with a fan who was shooting a water pistol at him: https://consequence.net/2025/06/billie-joe-armstrong-squirt-gun/ He rightfully gets angry but my favorite part of the vid is how he immediately gets back into showman mode. That's a true performer right there 😆1 point

We always remember to complain but sometimes we don't remember to compliment, so before I forget, this year's VIP host is lovely So far, the whole thing has gone so much better than last year. Even the merch isn't as shit.1 point

People on Reddit say lots of things lol. I don’t check in there much, but that particular community seems to have a fixation with thinking he’s drinking every time he has some kind of on-stage issue, with most of them going “hey man it’s fineeee if he wants to drink” and all that nonsense. One time they swore he was drinking last year because he was acting weird during a song and lo and behold, there’s a video from right after where he’s like “I was just choking on an Advil!” Lmao. I understand the worry 100% but it takes more for me to be concerned than one meh night where there were other things at play that caused tension. I imagine starting two hours later than scheduled is a big deal for a performer when they have specific rituals to get themselves ready for the show. I mean, I’m just a concertgoer and even I’ve been put in weird moods by rain delays. Having all that built up adrenaline delayed, and worries over whether the event will go on at all, messes with you a bit. I saw GD last year in Philly and Pittsburgh and enjoyed Philly a lot less because it was up in the air all day whether the show could happen because of a hurricane.1 point

I tried to like Wunderhorse on the first night but by the second I was out of patience 😂 Still not over how good these shows were though!! Redundant was so beautiful. I don't think it's sunk in that we heard 86 and Stuart & the Ave. One of my friends filmed 86 and all you can hear is us screaming 😂1 point
