  1. I haven't watched the show yet, so I cannot comment on his behavior, but given the whole situation with it being postponed due to the storm, not knowing if it would happen or not, and being on that state of uncertainty for at least an hour, especially for a front man who has said many times he gets stage fright, I imagine is quite enough to put anyone in quite a state. So I wouldn't worry too much, as in all the previous shows he has seemed perfectly fine and quite enjoying himself.

  2. Ugh I saw that too, and it’s literally just someone’s ~feeling based on nothing. They’re all human like the rest of us, god forbid he shows a bit of emotion now and then
    6 points
  3. I don’t think that’s accurate, apart from being rushed and saying a few more anti war things (understandable) the only time he showed any actual frustration was during the jos incident which fair play to him if someone was spraying him with water in the face all night

  4. Someone in the crowd clearly wound him up I think. Stressful hanging around, all fired up to perform then a delay with all the doubts about that, then time constraints, no surprise if he wasn’t as relaxed as he’s been.

  5. I saw them live at Southside and watched yesterday’s livestream and there’s literally nothing that suggests that he was drunk. The difference between the two shows is that there was no thunderstorm and therefore no delay and no time restrictions at Southside. That’s all. They probably had a little less time and had to rush through some of the songs. It still looked like a good show to me. And him being angry? That’s human. I’d also be mad if someone tried to distract me all the time.

  6. People on Reddit are always speculating that anytime his behavior is less than perfect. I’d dismiss it.

  7. You don’t see that in the video anywhere. He’s quite a distance from the crowd I’m surprised security wouldn’t have shut that down right away. It’s hard to tell from the livestream what exactly happened. I agree that he seemed a little tense throughout the show and I’m sure a combination of world events and a delayed start might have contributed (along with some asshole fan causing trouble). He was less silly and smiley, there were fewer little musical ad libs and Good Riddance sounded rushed like he wanted to get the hell out of there. One of those nights it happens.

  8. I was expressing sympathy for all concerned. The crowd who must have wondered if they would get the show at all and the band who always want to give their best.

  9. The camera work is annoying it’s all over the place and too many fast cuts. It’s hard to focus on Billie’s performance the camera doesn’t stay on him for more than a few seconds at a time

  10. Yeah and he seemed to be enjoying himself at this one too from what I saw! I saw nothing different to download save for what’s already been discussed. People, man 🙄

  14. What happened during Jesus of Suburbia? Billie Joe removed his guitar, dropped his mic, and began to talk, pissed.

  16. I shared this in another thread, but back in March I acquired this Japanese guitar magazine that features Billie's gear and an interview from the nimrod tour. The publication is called Cool Guitar - Modern Rock, issue is November 1998. I scanned the pages and translated the article to the best of my ability. Enjoy! Good Riddance (played in the style of the Insomniac B-side version)

  24. Back in March, I was able to acquire the Japanese guitar magazine that features the photos of Billie's nimrod guitars and rig that were shared last year. The publication is called Cool Guitar - Modern Rock, issue is November 1998. I scanned the pages and translated the article to the best of my ability. I just finished up another video with 182News breaking all of this down. Enjoy! Link to my article translation: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YdW-IzWNR4Mxw_yuZX1Na0XDqDS4_lbv/view?usp=share_link

  31. I tried to like Wunderhorse on the first night but by the second I was out of patience 😂 Still not over how good these shows were though!! Redundant was so beautiful. I don't think it's sunk in that we heard 86 and Stuart & the Ave. One of my friends filmed 86 and all you can hear is us screaming 😂

  32. Some people on Reddit are speculating that he might have been drinking before the show. I really really hope this isn’t true, but what do you think?

  42. 2 amazing shows, the guys looked and sounded amazing, great audience too. It was so damn hot in that place, everyone was soaked in sweat and obviously I caught a small cold when I went out in the cooler air afterwards 🤧 Resting now to get healthy again for my next two shows in Luxembourg and Amsterdam. This band😍

  43. STAY THE NIGHT! Forever Now! Stuart & the Ave! Redundant!!! One of my lovely friends got onstage and Billie took his pride flag the night before 🥹 Both shows were absolutely incredible but the first one was one of my favourite Green Day shows ever. There was the most amazing atmosphere around us and so many lovely people in the queue 🩷

  44. Billie Joe looked confused when he started to play parts of Stay the night. So did I. I had to think before I realized which song it was.😅 Would have liked something other than Forever now since they played it so often during the Rev Rad tour. Loved Stuart and the Ave and the part they included of Redundant. 🩷

  45. The setlist for the second night was: American Idiot Holiday Know Your Enemy (w/ fan on stage) Boulevard of Broken Dreams One Eyed Bastard Forever Now Longview Hitchin' a Ride Stuart and the Ave. Brain Stew St. Jimmy Dilemma (w/ Stay the Night snippet) 21 Guns Minority Basket Case She (Billie seemed to have some in-ear issues from that point onwards) When I Come Around Wake Me Up When September Ends Jesus of Suburbia Bobby Sox Good Riddance [Time of Your Life] (w/ Redundant snippet) Billie had his in-ears in and out tonight, so I guess there was an issue. Glad they played an Insomniac track again and I got to hear Forever Now live in person Liked yesterday I recorded the show and it will be up as soon as possible I wasn't lucky tonight getting a physical setlist though.

  46. Shocked that Bang Bang is no longer played as that is in their top 25-30 streamed songs… that Still Breathing and Last Night On Earth should be played more live based on these… also at 115 there aren’t many rock bands ahead of them it seems like if they split it by genre they would be in the top 5 as linkin park, Coldplay, red hot chilli peppers are the only “rock” bands ahead of them….so I’m guessing 115 is good? Also seems like 21 Guns, Wake Me Up, Good Riddance and When I Come Around eventually will get a billion streams too

  47. Does that mean their peak position was once 96 even though they have peak listeners now?

  50. Green Day just reached a new peak for listeners on Spotify. And is only a little more than a week away from BOBD reaching the billion mark.
