  1. Anybody on Friday’s time zone see a new Fidlar collab for Fuck Off on Saviors Deluxe? https://www.reddit.com/r/greenday/s/D4dPB8m2i1

  2. Tre is following GDA on Instagram 🥰 He likes some posts too. If you're not following, you should be https://www.instagram.com/gdauthority

  3. I like the Fidlar mix of FO better, it’s got that harder edgier sound I thought the original lacked. Good video too

  4. It’s so nice to read how they truly appreciate this time in their careers and have enjoyed the hell out of this tour. For so many years, it seemed like it was just go-go-go for them and I don’t think they really stopped to look around and feel proud of what they accomplished or enjoy the moment. They definitely do that now and it’s great to see. I’m sure taking that time to embrace it all makes it an overall more positive and relaxed experience for all of them.

  6. The link works fine for me, but since it's not working for you, I downloaded and uploaded it on GDrive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xlS_gj0-kLsyeVL27fWsvQVwCIlwLNQC?usp=sharing

  7. That made me want to laugh and cry at the same time lolllll. Torture I am actually curious what it would have sounded like when young Billie reached the "what's fucked up and everything's alright" part

  8. I don’t know the original lyric book, but yes the new one has the lyrics for the bonus songs.

  10. I'm pleasantly surprised. "Fuck Off" had been one of the weaker tracks from the Deluxe Edition for me, it felt too restrained for the message it was trying to convey. But this version is definitely an improvement, as it makes it fittingly more aggressive. I really dig it!

  12. Not sure how to feel about this mix honestly. The dryer vocals are nice, but they have some mid-high frequency boost that is personally irritating to my ears. It's kind of similar to the vocal mastering done on the C&V songs, but way too intense in my opinion. The guitar "solo" is interesting, but I can see why it was cut... as it doesn't sound satisfying or needed. The different amp feedback is better and the drop of the instruments at the end of the first verse is cool, but those are pretty much the only things that I prefer over the normal mix, but the normal mix isn't anything special. I'm more annoyed that this was put onto the deluxe album and not a single release. Edit: Sounds much better with headphones

  14. Thanks for the scans @jengd! I'm with Billie on the long runs and it never ceases to amaze me how lyrics and music just constantly come to him so whenever he's had enough of a break he's good to go. Sounds like he's doing really well

  15. Honestly, after I finished school the years just flew by. Having time to do things and not living on a student budget makes time pass faster for sure.

  16. Would love to see Redundant back on the setlist. Full band version, not the stripped back one from the Nimrod tour or acoustic version that was played during the 21cb tour (neither work or do the song justice IMO). The version we got on the BBC sessions. The song has been criminally underused by the band.

  17. Don't know if anybody posted it already: The Japanese Deluxe CD includes "Fever" as their Japan bonus track...again. https://e.usen.com/news/news-release/green-day523saviors-edition-de-luxe202564green-day-x-verdy.html

  19. Such great news. I found this forum because of GDA. I had never looked at fan sites before that. GDA/GDC changed that and not just because of the band but because of the people on here. I’ve met many and hope to meet many more. This is really a great place and can’t wait to rediscover GDA again. Thanks for all your hard work, Fuzz!

  20. I don't even do GDA because of Green Day anymore. I'm not on any other fansites or pages. I do it just because I value the sites and the community so much. GDA and especially GDC were my 'places' when I was growing up, in the same way Gilman was to Green Day. That probably sounds sad but it's just how it was for the people who grew up alongside the dawn of the internet, and honestly, I'm one of many people who has met real life friends through GDC so it's not like it isn't actually 'real life.' I've felt like throwing in the towel many times but I'm glad I haven't. It's very rewarding to see the sites making a comeback and to hear from others like me who are glad to see it. I won't pretend I can keep up with the other fansites when it comes to news because I can't, but for me, GDA has always been more than news anyway - it's about the community, info and fun anecdotes that aren't found anywhere else. I'll carry on doing my best for the foreseeable future ☺️
