From one of the lead actors in the film. Sounds like Billie (and Jakob!) co-wrote 4 or 5 original songs for the fictional band in the film to perform. I love Underdog and Stay Young. And Fuck Off because it's so ridiculous and constantly in my head (and the meaning is nice). Ballyhoo and Smash It Like Belushi are cool but pretty average bsides. All are better than Fever lol I think they should've picked different songs to do acoustic versions of, since those two are already the closest to acoustic on the album and they really don't sound very different. But Father to a Son is much better without the orchestra

Smash it like belushi is mid. Fuck off is slightly better than belushi Stay Young is epic (imagine if it was released on a movie soundtrack in the year 2000-2005 Ballyhoo is alright. Still trying to understand the song Underdog at first i didn't like it. But after a few listen it's growing on me. The tunes are great but the lyrics is so-so

I've been trying to figure out what Uck Off sounds like for a million years....and it just popped in my head. "in all honesty" has the same melody as Lazy Bones "I don't want your honesty" WOOHOO! I can't believe I brained that hard.

Love em all. Stay Young is great. Fuck Off is fire. Stay Young definitely might be a re-tooled Too Young. The guitars and melodys sound like something more like from the Warning/Cigs/AI era. Complete with slight nasally Billie vocals lol I love it. 😝 Fuck Off is basically an early version of Murder City with swapped lyrics lol.

Is it just me who thinks Belushi is one of the weaker tracks?

It's the only Green Day video I actively dislike. The ONLY saving grace is Billie's hotness and fabulous outfit.

In the Kerrang article he says he is doing long runs and swimming in the sea a lot, it’s clearly good for him, he looks amazing! He says the running is good for his mental health, not an original thought but so true and I’m glad it’s working for him.

I think Underdog is the best track of the bunch and doesn't sound like FOAM at all. And Stay Young is by far my least favourite and I've seen a lot of other people say that too

Yep. Failed twice lol. Well, by bands were both Riot Grrrl, but we either all left the band or argued our way out. In both bands, I was the only member standing, cuz I'm loyal to any band I'm in. But who cares about a bass player, right? lmaoo (edit: I am a bass player and was in both of my bands, and can approve that bass players are underrated and never get a say in anything lol. I was even lead singer AND bass player and STILL didn't get a say)

Stay Young has grown on me a lot. Still not really getting Underdog but I think if you changed some small things it would be fine. It’s funny that while I like the original album these b-sides show more different ground for them in some ways. While they are b-sides for a reason, what’s next for them could be really exciting.

I think it's just a festival setlist. In Europe I think we'll see a similar setlist as in Asia early this year

Here from where i live. At 10 years old you could drive a motorcycle on the road just don't get caught by the police . Also got nausea/dizzy because of those fast cut scenes. Should have just have us a video of the band playing

I queued for Lyon and Paris last year, both from around 7am. I managed to get decent spots, but not as decent enough as you'd expect for queuing for 12h and being among the first 20 people in line (first 10 in Lyon). In Paris I was 2nd row right in front of Jason White, and in Lyon I was first row a bit further away to the side of Mike's spot. So I wouldn't say it's totally worthless to queue. I also find it a fun experience... It's nice to spend the day surrounded by other fans, hearing people's stories of how long they've been fans, previous shows they've been to, etc. Even if you show up alone, you end up making friends. And sometimes the people you meet in the queue end up being the people you'll enjoy the concert with. The last hour is quite stressful though 😅 I've got VIP entrance for both nights in the end (I know I won't be VIP nor queuing for Lux or Amsterdam, so I wanted to make sure to get good spots for these two), and I've got North entrance for both nights as well. I'll probably go check out the VIP queue situation early (not 7am though 😅), and depending on what I see I'd either stay in the queue or go hang out for a while with the people in the regular queue (it feels wrong to me to get a good spot without waiting outside all day, being that I'm young and fit enough to do that ). A bit annoying the whole thing with two entrances though, as that means we can't all queue together. Hopefully the VIP queues will be close to the regular queues though. It'll be my first time in Austria too!

It seems more reasonable if we are all separated in different lines. Maybe can we do a group chat in instagram or something else?

…when the simple act of buying tea can turn out to be quite funny. This morning I went to my favorite tea shop (that has a very charming owner) to buy the usual Sencha tea. The owner was there and began telling me about this new brand they had and how good it was, showing me the package. And on the label it said „Japan Sencha Green Day“. Hilarious: I’m very sure this German tea company has no clue that a band by that name exists nor what the expression Green Day actually means…😂 By now the owner probably was wondering why I was grinning all over my face, and so I told him that as a huge fan of the band Green Day I would of course try that tea. And he said that in the past he had also been a fan and bought all their albums. So I recommended Saviors and he promised to listen to it. What a nice shopping experience!😊

Oh I definitely don’t blindly praise everything, and I’m not against discussion, I guess I’m just not massively negative and don’t feel the need to discuss if i dislike something in the same way a lot of people do. I’d rather spend my energy on stuff i like and I can’t be the only one who thinks on here that more often than not people are just moaning cause they can haha
