On a side note, I’m pleasantly surprised to see all the praise for Green Day‘s performance online. I wasn’t sure if their music would resonate with the Coachella crowd, but it seems like most people really enjoyed their set, and I even saw some articles naming them as the highlight of the whole festival. There was one post about Travis Scott‘s performance where people commented that it fell flat because of the high standards set by Green Day before. I’ve got no idea if this is true or not, but it seems like in recent months, the band is finally getting the recognition they deserve. There was a time where they were the punching bag for a lot of frustrated rock fans, but these days, it seems like most people seem to acknowledge their contribution to rock music history and the fact that they are still one of the best live bands out there.

This has been my whole day.

I'm a few hours drive away and would have to take a day off work but I'm thinking about going! Anyone else on here going? I wish I knew more details about it, like how close to the ceremony can we get? Can we see much? Just trying to figure out if it would be worth it (the long drive and hotel expense)

I really hope they talk. Since this has already blown up in the news (and they haven't even talked yet), it seems like it would be an even bigger deal if they actually do talk. It would be interesting to hear his side of things, and debates are often healthy; that is the whole point of opinion. If everyone had the same opinion about everything, the word "opinion" wouldn't exist. The concept of an opinion wouldn't exist either.

When I looked up Green Day hot dogs, it said this in the google ai overview: Green Day is scheduled to headline Coachella 2025, according to a post on Green Day Community. Um... no? lol ALSO the ai used MY post for this information. It used this post: Ummm, I didn't know the AI can see me lol. Stay safe out there... (ai is artificial intelligence, not American Idiot lol) now the ai is calling coachella an 'unusual, fictional event' ... huh?
