Although Smash It Like Belushi sounds more FOAMish than other Saviors songs, isn't it fascinating how much difference a production by Rob Cavallo makes? That's a whole different level to all the songs on FOAM.

These songs were very recently recorded for the deluxe and are not leftovers tracks from the Saviors sessions.

Giving up hope that they'll actually tour the US in 2025 tbh 😭 It's cool that they're part of such a big cultural event, but selfishly I hate festivals. I can't physically or financially swing them.

This is no different to things they've done in the past. Fire Ready Aim and Here Comes The Shock made for the NHL, Holy Toledo and The Forgotten released as singles alongside movies they appeared in, Know Your Enemy in WWE, 21 Guns in Transformers, Green Day: Rock Band. Promoting your music and making money is apparently bad now. I've not seen the band do anything egregious. Deluxe albums are things pretty much every artist does nowadays, you don't have to buy them. The songs are all gonna be available on streaming anyway. If you bought the original album, no one's forcing you to buy it again. How many people even listen to the physical CDs & Vinyls that they buy, people usually buy these things to add to their collection while they listen to the album on streaming where it's much more convenient. Every song on Saviors has a similar style visualizer video. I don't even think it's a "single", it's just a Deluxe pre-release track and they're not gonna make much money off of it at all. They didn't give an announcement for the song's release prior to releasing it, they just released it alongside the announcement of the Deluxe album. Idk what point you're trying to make. The band hasn't said anything about the song, they announced it on social media and YouTube and even there they didn't make any statement about the quality of the new tracks but also even if they did, they're not gonna say "Yeah these tracks are pretty mid. Listen if you want". They're trying to promote a deluxe version of their latest album.

I like it, it’s fun! Very much B-side material but I love B-sides so that’s alright by me. Glad they decided to treat us.
