  3. Unbelievably I am outside the Hollywood Palladium right now šŸ˜‚ I'm in LA to see my girlfriend and this was very convenient timing. I got here just before 8AM and was numbered 23. There are about 10 more people behind me. Lots of people have flown in and some camped out. The vibe around me is nice so far. No idea what to expect from the show but I'm sure it'll be fun. Probably can't say anything else about it until the film is out because we're not supposed to post about it online.

  4. On this day 31 years ago (24 March 1994), Green Day were on Much Music in Toronto, Canada. More photos: Later that day, they played the Opera House in Toronto. 34 years ago (24 March 1991), Green Day played at Eggplant's House in Pinole, CA. 'Eggplant and an ex-girlfriend of mine set up this surprise birthday party for me, and Green Day and Blatz played it. Eggplant has had many spectacular parties in his backyard. He had this weird hot-tub room, his dad and his stepmom. They played there, next to the hot tub. This really teeny room. It was raining like crazy. I remember the people in Blatz were getting electrocuted, so they didn't like that. That was a very memorable show for me. It was my twenty-first birthday. How many people can say their two favorite bands played their birthday party? Not many. I was stoked.' — Eric Yee

  6. (I am probably preaching to the choir here, so apologies in advanced lol) Does anyone else think that Billie Joe's voice is just sooo releasing? I was listening to Tre (the album) last night and right when I pressed play and Brutal Love began, I started to cry. His voice is just so soothing and just what I needed.

  9. I’m gonna watch the whole movie just waiting for them to appear in the last ten minutes. I could rewatch Ordinary World to infinity because Billie’s in every scene. This sounds like something I’ll see once.

  13. ^ Now I’m sad they’re not doing a horror film. 😭 Something about this project confuses me, like who will watch it outside Green Day fans. I guess it’s just a comedy with Green Day elements but I just don’t…get it. It’s a fun idea and all, I guess I’m just curious to see how it will be marketed and how wide of a release it will get.

  15. From the Office Ladies podcast. Sounds like Jenna Fischer is playing a character based on Ollie Armstrong https://www.instagram.com/reel/DHo2OwAN0bl/?igsh=OWl6bXV5dTIzcGNm

  16. The Foo Fighters have the "band inexplicably makes schlocky-but-half-fun-horror" corner of the film market covered when they released that Studio 666 a few years ago. Same dudes involved with Ordinary World on this project right? That was terrible so I don't have high hopes. Get back in the studio lads and leave the movies alone, eh? Unless this is an official documentary about the early tours and first trips to Europe which definitely would be worth a watch.
