My co-worker was giving us a musical trivia quiz and the question was "blank Luft Balloons plus blank Light Years Away". My brain got fuzzy for second, because I was like, for sure they can't be including a deep cut Green Day song?

This YouTube channel has so many live videos from 2005, it’s crazy. I’ve never seen so much footage from their 2005 US stadium shows.

Amazing! Their biggest show in the US ever! I guess this is the one they would’ve used for Bullet In a Bible, but they didn’t since Mike had the flu for it.

Is that so? I didn't know any of this! But hearing the intro before they came on stage made me relive the physiological excitement of that night 🥹 I don't have many coherent memories of that show, just very fractioned ones, like snapshots. But apparently my body does remember it well 😅 Thanks a lot for sharing that video

I had some weird fucking dream last night that Green Day had turned themselves into small singing hamsters. I brought them into my house because a hawk was trying to eat them.

My mum visited London last week and came back with a present for me! In Primark she spotted some black GD Dookie t-shirts. It's not like I need another Dookie t-shirt but I'm glad she got it for me!😆 The t-shirt actually feels like a really nice quality, with a large embroidered Dookie patch on the front and GD Dookie printed on the back! It was only £12 as well, so UK/Ireland peeps (don't think Primark is a thing anywhere else) keep your eyes peeled next time you're in Primark!

When your boss is trying to think of the name of the movie They Live and you know it solely because of the Back in the USA video. Which you promptly send to him. And when your co-worker offers to get you a Green Day slurpee because she's confused on what the 7/11 collab is.

You know you're a Green Day fan when you can't think of the numbers 99, 86, or 21 without thinking of your favorite band Also whenever you hear the words "1-2-3-4" it's either the Hitchin' a Ride chant or *inhale* MY NAME IS JIMMY AND YOU BETTER NOT WEAR IT OUT

I‘ve just found this cover on YouTube. Must be from the 21CB era. I think it’s really great. Billie‘s so full of energy, love it!!!

Man, if only it didn’t take unspeakable tragedy to get people to appreciate Green Day’s deep cuts.
