  2. I really like the setlists I'm seeing from Japan. They are finally able to pull from every era except the two 'depressing' ones, haha. And I feel like Billie may one day change how he feels about those songs. They were created during a bad time, sure. But they are amazing. I know they will never do a ton of deep cuts on regular tours, but Oh Love and Father of All every now and then wouldn't hurt anybody. And if you're a hater of those songs, I know you hold your pee during a concert so there you go. Pee during Father of All, haha.

  5. I‘ve only been to two GD shows until now. I‘d be happy with ANY setlist!!!

  6. You’re probably right. Dookie and American Idiot together would be roughly an hour and a half. Plus throw in their other standard hits they play plus a few Saviors songs, there’s just not a lot of room. Still, they’ve stretched themselves on the East Asia portion of the leg so one random deep cut is certainly possible. My heart will always be set on hearing Forever Now live again but who knows

  7. Really hoping they keep the extra Saviours tracks in for the European dates this summer!

  11. Well I got here 6 hours before doors and there are maybe about 200 people in line ahead of me. Looks to be a good turnout!

  13. If they scrambled those three songs (the one they play during the Dookie part of the set, the one that's been RevRad/Forever Now so far, and potentially Jaded) at every show, that would indeed be the dream. I really hope it doesn't stabilize to just the same songs at every show. And with this hope I'm hunting down the the ticket for Luxembourg with extra ferocity now I think I might just give up and buy it on stubhub.

  14. Looks like Setlist.fm had a blurb about them throwing in deep cuts. Loving what they’ve been doing on this leg of the tour. Just one or two random deep cuts per show, that’s all I’ve been asking for. Just a few days ‘till they go Down Under! https://www.setlist.fm/news/02-25/green-day-dusts-off-deep-cuts-during-japanese-gigs-13d6a151

  15. I love everything that they've produced so far, but if I had to say a favorite, it's gotta be 21st Century Breakdown. I consider it the absolute peak of Green Day, the album cycle when they were at the peak of their powers. The album is huge and cinematic and there's not a track I don't like. (Shoutout to Peacemaker, Modern World, and Christian's Inferno, you don't get talked about as much as you should). The 21st Century Breakdown World Tour is the stuff of absolute legend, Awesome as F**K is one of my favorite live albums ever. I don't have words to describe how much 21st Century Breakdown means to me, honestly. A day won't come when I won't feel a warm feeling hearing a buzz of radio static and the words... Sing us a song of the century... That's louder than bombs and eternity... The era of static and contraband... Leading us into the promised land... Tell me a story that's by candlelight... Waging a war and losing the fight... They're playing the song of the century... Panic and promise and prosperity... Tell us a story into that good night... Sing us a song for me...
