They played four songs outside before the game, and played Basket Case and American Idiot during an intermission inside the arena. That's a really nice shot. These were alright, too: Anyway, this was one of my favourite shows I remember running in and seeing a completely empty barrier for the first time ever. I was in Jason's corner of the catwalk which was the best spot I'd ever had. Billie kept saying ‘tusen takk’ (thank you very much) and ‘jeg elsker deg’ (‘I love you’). I caught a pick he threw to me for the first time and put it on a necklace. I don't really care about setlists (unless they play Rock 'n' Roll All Nite or whatever it's called... THEN I will finally complain) and so it can be hard to explain why some shows are so special, but they're just magical somehow. I haven't seen any mention of it on Instagram, so I think someone was either trolling or confused 🤷‍♀️ I was just on a video call with to my partner when he joined one of his colleagues who went to the show last night, and of course I asked him about the show. The guy is a pretty casual listener (he felt the need to inform me they closed with Time of Your Life how cute is that?), but he was converted. "They played song after song! and they had so much energy! It was just amazing!" He sounded still really hyped and really happy about the show. I felt proud ☺️

Also, what's with this man and razor blades? Has anyone counted how many songs Green Day and side projects' songs have those words?

They spoiled us so much with the double album shows last year. As much as I'd love to get 37 songs again, we have to admit 24 songs is a perfectly good set list.

Had a dream that I was watching a current GD show and was very happy bc Billie had dyed his hair black again. But then it switched to him on Celebrity Jeopardy and he had his hair in a blond ponytail. 🫤

But I want more Saviors's songs. If they didn't played them this years when they'll play them

I realize this comment is overdone to the point of being comical, but I feel like Billie looks even younger than he did on the tour last year and I don’t know how he keeps getting away with this.

Hi, I’m going to this show too, as I have a business trip there at the same time. I opted for the VIP ticket. Yes, I believe so. Dubai has a large expat population, so there will likely be plenty of Green Day fans. I also think people will travel from Asia and nearby countries to attend. Since this is their first time in Dubai, expect everyone to be really excited! Cheers,

I think because he’s so incredible at his day job (at the last GD show I went to I literally thought mid-concert “He’s so good at his job!” lol), it makes it all that much more interesting to see him in a more relaxed setting where he can hang back and jam. Because we know he can command a room no problem, it’s neat to see his quiet confidence in a more subdued role. For whatever reason I think it’s so cool (and very attractive) to just see him play guitar. That said, as time goes on I really do think Frontman Billie has become less of a performance and more like Regular Billie, which I love.

Agreed, I really prefer Green Day but it is something special, feels like he’s just himself though I think in full on Green Day he’s an extraordinary frontman. ❤️

Billie looked gorgeous at the Coverups show. He was so cheerful and smiley and it looked like he and Jason were having a contest for floofiest hair

Having really enjoyed AI 20th Box Set, it remined me of this amazing 14 minutes of heaven with the band in the studio recording AI. Love pretending I've got an exclusive seat there in the studio, listening to and loving every jaw dropping minute, as they discuss and develop each song. Maybe this should have been included in the box set.

Had a dream that I had like 4 GD-themed teddy bears that my cousin kept trying to rip up so I made him sign a homemade contract saying if my bears got damaged I could legally smack the shit out of him. Then a GDCer used my contract template to win a bunch of carnival games using lateral thinking lol

Had a dream that Kevin and Vicki were trying to take a selfie with their kid in the car, but Billie was in the backseat cuddling with a St Bernard and kept getting into the shot.
