  1. I‘m slowly working through GD‘s discography and have now arrived at Dos. And I can say I like a lot of it. But when listening to Nightlife - obviously GD‘s most hated song - I was just thinking „This isn’t as bad as expected“ when my Swiftie daughter entered the room congratulating me for finally listening to good music….🥴 Favorites are Wow! That‘s loud and BABY EYES!!❤️

  3. 9 January 2025 On this day 32 years ago (9 January 1993), Green Day played the Antenna Club in Memphis, TN. ---------------------------------------- 10 January 2025 On this day 8 years ago (10 January 2017), Green Day played the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy on the Revolution Radio Tour. That was one of my wildest queuing experiences. It was –5ºC and I only had a £3 blanket from Sports Direct and an extra pair of jeans. Honestly thought I was going to die in the night. Don't regret it though. The recap I wrote (it's more camping than concert, but I'm sharing it all anyway): I made a documentary about Green Day fans for my final project at uni. It was eventually exhibited and three of the photos in the exhibition were from Turin (the top left, and the first two on the second row). More photos: 20 years ago (10 January 2005), Green Day played 12 songs on MTV in Berlin, Germany. More photos: 24 years ago (10 January 2001), Green Day played the Bronco Bowl in Dallas, TX on the Warning Tour. 33 years ago (10 January 1992), Green Day played Wehrschloss in Bremen, Germany. ---------------------------------------- 11 January 2025 On this day 8 years ago (11 January 2017), Green Day played the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, Italy on the Revolution Radio Tour. This was my favourite of the Italian shows and probably one of my favourite shows ever, actually. We got to the venue at about midday (and ironically 20+ people camped out there), so we were at the end of the barrier, but it was just magical. More photos: 20 years ago (11 January 2005), Green Day played the Treptow Arena in Berlin, Germany on the American Idiot Tour. More photos: 33 years ago (11 January 1992), Green Day played in Schüttorf, Germany. No excuse for being late this time except that I didn't want to upload all the photos to Tumblr.

  5. That was -6 btw @solongfromthestars!! Turin in 2017 was one of my favourite shows for sure having last seen the band at the Leeds Festival in August 2013. It was incredible and we met some lovely Italians there. One of the most special memories of it was hearing the soundcheck the night before. It was almost surreal. Stood in the freezing cold and being able to hear so clearly Billie belting out Still Breathing and stop starting Forever Now to test the pyros. Dancing along to King for a Day. Just awesome 💖 Photo of the line

  7. Remember that private charity concert that Green Day played a while back with The Who in the backyard of a Pacific Palisades home? It’s weird that that home is likely no longer standing.

  8. Wow. I've lost count the number of times I've watched live bands there over the years. To think Billie Joe has visited this amazing place. Gob-smacked.

  14. This year was a great one in Green Day land. So thankful for the great memories 2024 gave me and the two awesome opportunities I had to see them live. Pittsburgh in particular was one of my favorite shows of theirs I’ve been to — so fun, so joyful —and I feel fortunate to have been able to take that trip to see them. Can’t wait for what 2025 has in store. Happy New Year, friends!
