  1. Green Day is going to perform Dilemma on the American Music Awards! https://deadline.com/2024/09/american-music-awards-special-1236100221/

  2. Well, it appears Vegas radio station X107.5 has banned Green Day from their airwaves. How will they ever survive? This seems like an incredibly lame stance by the station, but whatever. I mean, Vegas hasn't been great for them with iHeart and Vegas taking two of Oakland's pro franchises. Thoughts?

  3. Green Day is everywhere since Saviors. Can't remember when was the last time the media, TV, movies, radio, etc... talked about them this much. Good or bad I don't care Green Day is everywhere this year. And let's be honest, when it's bad it's not that bad (trump mask, vegas radio, USA residency) They're doing awards shows, got song on a video game, they did a sport event last november, late night show... name it. They're everywhere baby!

  4. I love seeing Green Day at award shows. Takes me back to AI era where they appeared at what felt like every award show, performed, and won! Makes me excited because otherwise I wouldn't watch

  6. They’re being smart about where to license their songs to reach new audiences and they’re hitting a lot of milestones this year with the two album anniversaries, the billion streams, the double diamond award, the star on the walk of fame. Everything they have yet to achieve seems to be happening for them now

  10. I noticed Hot Topic has a cool new TADIKM tee on their website. I like how this one actually has them on it from the video. Looks better than the zombie tees that are sold at shows and on Green Day’s store site in my opinion. https://www.hottopic.com/product/green-day-zombies-glow-in-the-dark-t-shirt/33194010.html

  11. If they don't photoshop this and start using Dominated Love Slave and Blood Sex and Booze as background songs to start promoting these, that is a wasted marketing opportunity.

  15. Ugh I hate it when people put down others for enjoying something. It's so unnecessary and rude.

  16. What's the saying, "A picture paints a thousand words". And these photos share a story of another amazing live show. I can imagine being there. Thanks to @Rumpelstiltskin2000 yet again. Thanks so much for taking the time to post these collections, it's made my day. It's very much appreciated.

  18. I went to the Seattle show with my wife and two friends. The entire concert experience was excellent - didn't feel too long. Everyones set and sounds were great. Green Days set and state design surpassed my expectations. I loved the Dookie set more than I anticipated, and felt the graphics / visual / floats were top notch. Seriously worth the money.

  19. I had a good time yesterday. But one fan(early in the day, while waiting) started being very hostile and rude to me saying I wasn't allowed to be on barricade or ever go to shows in the Westcoast. And got mad I got there early to wait... kinda dampered my time waiting as I felt uncomfortable talking to anyone else waiting because this rude person. We met at a show in 2022, but this person showed their true colors a year ago and I cut the friendship off a year ago. Haven't spoken since. Until they came and started yelling at me when I was not even talking to them.

  23. Vegas isn’t even a real city, it’s a bunch of casinos built by mobsters and billionaires with a city that grew around it to feed the beast. It’s fitting that we finally get high speed rail in this country and it’s a line from LA to Vegas to bring more people in to spend their money. Capitalism will always win

  24. How moronic lol. After he said that in his Letterbomb speech he was like “but anyway, I’ll take it down a bit” indicating he knew he was getting a bit too riled up in the moment lol. And he has a specific, valid beef with Vegas over losing multiple sports teams to them, so like…(also he’s correct, I hate going to Vegas for work lmao).

  25. Hilarious . So much silly drama any time Billie says anything lately. Also extremely obvious he's not talking about regular people who live in Las Vegas.

  27. Because the coffee actually makes money 😉 Hit the jackpot finally at my little local Shop and Save. Haven’t seen any there until now but today there was a big cardboard endcap full with every variety of cups at the front of the store. Got a box of Father of All since I haven’t seen that anywhere else and I liked it when I had it before as OC

  31. So far, the band has promoted their coffee way more than any of their new singles 😆

  32. What an asshole 😠 Did they work for the store or PBC? It’s just coffee for god sakes. You’re not being scammed into buying NFTs or gold sneakers.

  33. Yes, this is the one in Arlington! I remember when that last shot was taken and thinking "Yep, I'm not going to be in this shot" lol. I should be one or two people to the side of the guy in right most part of the picture. BTW, some photographer took a picture of me and my sister while we were taking this selfie . I have kept an eye out for it, but haven't seen it shared anywhere. If anyone comes across it please let me know, I'd really appreciate!

  34. lol yeah I was thinking of attending this. I live less than 15 minutes away. Having met Billie before, I was like damn this may be a shot to meet the whole band. But then I thought it’s going to be wild. The amount of fans in that tiny lot. It’s going to be jammed. And also feared that something of the sort may happen (the disorganization) So I decided not to lol. Guess I’m glad I didn’t haha. Besides, I already met the guy himself. And that was before a sound check, and it was literally just me and like two other people who shared the experience. Way more intimate. Less screaming. Less shoving. You know all that good stuff haha 😌 But I’m glad some people had fun. And the boys have been immortalized in their old stomping grounds.

  35. Found a photographer who'd taken some shots at one of the coffee tastings. Green Day used some in their own post but not these https://www.instagram.com/p/DAENwR5RO-r/?igsh=MWd6b295aGg5ZDVhMA== @CristhyneSnot sure if this is the one you attended?

  36. My wife and I went to the event and the KTVU broadcast was incorrect. They stated that about 200 people were in the crowd, but we overheard a security guard saying that 530 VIP lanyards were handed out and no one new would be allowed in the event area when someone was trying to access it without a lanyard. Obviously not everyone could stay until Green Day arrived, but more than 200 people were there for their arrival and numerous people without lanyards were waiting in undesignated areas. Also, KTVU called it "Punky" Bunny Coffee. We bought two small bags of the medium roast coffee from 7-11 after it was over and the crowd had dissipated. Right after I picked up a bag of coffee, I heard someone behind me say, "I can't believe people are buying this shit." I turned around and saw that it was one of the people who worked the merch event table. She looked at me, shook her head, and then laughed. This partially explains why the event was so disorganized. My wife worked as an event planner and would have been fired for organizing an event like this. They even kept the mayor waiting over 2 hours! One person fainted from the heat and after that the event staff decided to hand out water, but it wasn't enough for everyone in the crowd. The good part was interacting with the fans in the crowd, singing together before Green Day arrived, and being able to say that I saw them spray paint the wall. 37. Even worse in Pittsburgh, they stopped into the downtown 7-11 without telling anybody and I was a few blocks away at the time and only found out later

  38. I was thinking exactly the same! None of their teachers were betting on them doing anything of note.

  41. I just think it’s so ironic. What would Billie’s teachers say now, the ones who were disgusted with him for never showing up to class and dropping out? Ofc they had bigger success than this as a band for decades but I find it particularly hilarious that the kid known as Two Dollar Bill who did no work, was stoned all the time, dropped out halfway through senior year and hung at his brother’s house who was the high school custodian would one day be given the key to the city 😂 No one could have predicted it and the school’s high achievers would say there’s no justice 🤣🤣
