I noticed that too, his hair has reached a level of fluffiness during this era that is just surreal. I had never been a fan of blonde Billie, I must confess, but after this tour, I absolutely LOVE it. It even feels kind of wrong looking at old pictures of him with black hair, LOL.

His hair has been so fluffy this entire Saviors era. I love it so much. I always preferred the black hair but I really feel like the blonde hair is working with this level of fluff.

Sorry for the absence, I went to see a mate in Wales and had a bird on my head. A year ago today (16 July 2023), Green Day played the Festival d'été de Québec in – you guessed it – Quebec, Canada. More photos: 12 years ago (2012), the Oh Love lyric video was released, making it the first studio version we heard from the trilogy. I remember rushing into the GDC thread to say I never wanted to forget how I felt the first time I heard the bridge. Probably have forgotten though. 15 years ago (2009), Green Day played in Hamilton, Canada on the 21st Century Breakdown Tour. More photos: 24 years ago (2000), Green Day played in Asbury Park, NJ on the Warped Tour. And 30 years ago (1994), they played in St. Louis, MO on the Dookie Tour.

Saviors, still can’t get enough of it. I think also we are having the worst summer anyone can remember, max temp is around 14 degrees and it rains every day (had a months rain in one day last week) so that line about waiting for the summer but the sun being out of view feels spot on.

I have listened to TADIKM at least 5 times per day since it was released. I can’t get enough of it. Whether it’s the studio or live version, it just scratches an itch in my brain that no other song can right now

Love to see that it’s holding strong in the top 5. I expected them to continuously trend down after leaving the number 1 spot, so I’m pleasantly surprised

No new Green Day albums or new songs will ever beat Letterbomb. Sorry 🤷‍♂️ That's my all time favorite song.

Stays at 2 on Alternative Airplay and 4 on Rock and Alternative Airplay, but fell from 1 to 3 on Canada Rock. I'll update again if there's any new peaks.

When I'm putting on my Billie shuffle, I almost always start it with Living in the 20s.

Fancy Sauce for me, beautiful whimsical masterpiece! And One Eyed Bastard is such a banger and addictive, I was ecstatic seeing it live and singing along with bada bing bada boom I've been listening to their whole discography a ton the last few months since the new album came out and appreciating every album and song. I think my all time favourite could be Somewhere Now (with Somewhere Now/Forever Now being the greatest combo ever), just find it beautiful and relate to it a lot

Just bought Summer Girl by Smash Mouth because it's not on streaming services, and none other than Chris Dugan does mixing on a song called "Girl Like You". He did this after American Idiot and right around the time of "The Saints Are Coming".

Bobby Sox! I didn't love that one when they released the tiny snippet before the single came out, but it grew on me quickly. And after hearing it live 4 times on this tour and singing along way too loud (🫢), it has become one of my all-time-favorite Green Day songs I guess. It's soooo great live🥰

I used to play Too Young to Die to death. I'm assuming it is for phases that I feel attached to a song or when I'm being through a situation that I can relate. Fancy sauce is that one that probably rn I revisit the most, not only bc it's new but it encapsulates many eras of the band.

So we're definitely getting *some* kind of content from the show... whether it's a BIAB style thing or a short... Will be exciting to know!

Just got the confirmation email from GMA. funnily enough, I had booked that bus ticket to get me there 30min before, lol Finally seeing the guys in Central Park , woo!

It was his little face while he was doing it that got me!😆❤️

The most adorkable thing at the Wembley show was when Billie told a crowd of 80,000 people "knock knock" while having no punchline to say TWICE . He was very sweetly stopping the show to make sure security helped a fan at the time so he got away with it.

Nothing better than Billie dancing! He had a couple of sexy moves at Wembley but don't remember when/what songs. Also at one point blew kisses to the crowd and then licked his finger and did a poking motion 😳 . Stood out because it's always been quite rare for him to do stuff like that at UK shows for some reason lol

I have Mega Evolved into Mega Fangirl over Billie taking my flag. That thing has been with me since the Paris show in 2010. It's been to all kinds of places but its most exciting adventure was definitely Costa Rica where it made it onto TV. Framing it has flag shagger vibes, but I think I'm going to have to retire it and frame it with photos some of Billie holding it.

Billie is looking completely gorgeous, we are getting flashes of hip and bellie and in Glasgow he had a couple of shirt buttons come undone. I’m not looking for any photos of that though, no sir, not hoping there are good, clear photos out there 😙
