My sister (who I would say is a casual fan of GD) really liked Saviours, when I played it for her for the first time the other day. She was like "oh this is good", and then she said "do you know, I think this is even better that AI!" I was a bit like this 😲. I have a hell of a lot of love for Saviours, I think it is and exceptional album, but I thought this was a bold statement!1 point

They have hardly promoted since the album release. Missed a chance for a summer single with Bobby Sox which sounds amazing playing in the car or at a sunny outdoor cookout. They either don’t care or their promoters are piss poor. Still, their monthly US Spotify listeners had been rising.1 point

I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't listen to all of Saviours until after I'd seen them live again the other week, but oh my god, it is such a good album. An instant classic, I think, up there with Dookie and American Idiot in terms of their best albums. Really really awesome.1 point

I feel this. They are doing this huge tour that is pulling crowds in the tens of thousands and also seem to be getting a lot of publicity, but at the same there isn't the level of mainstream popularity that was say during the AI era.1 point
