The stadiums are so huge and the amount of VIP tickets that were sold. 🫣 Arena tour next please and something closer to home would be great. I need to save up again after these gigs. Going to the UK was pricey. I loved that they played both Dookie and American Idiot. Finally got to hear Whatsername (!) and Homecoming live. I get that the average fan doesn't know all these songs, but it was advertised that both albums would be played. So many people looked confused and knew like four songs in total.

I mean, it is because of inflation which has made the price of everything go up but also because bands barely make any money from album sales now. Tours are where they make their money instead of selling records/CDs.

I just watched the show at Isle of White Festival on Youtube. One of my favorite shows ever! How amazing was that? One Eyed Bastard and Dilemma sound great live. Bobby Sox is the perfect kind of "finale" song. Hearing Give Me Novacaine live in front of such a big crowd carries so many emotions. Hopefully they return to Europe with this setlist one more time ❤️ (this time please also in Vienna)

I think dividing the pit might be a venue specific thing, and probably depends on the capacity of the pit and safety concerns. For example, both venues in France were arenas similar in size and the pit was not divided. But in a stadium I'd be terrified of being anywhere the near the front if the pit wasn't divided. A big crush in those conditions could leave many people gravely injured.

Green Day is on the soundtrack for the new Just Dance game. It's Basket Case which is even weirder.
