If they were wowed by this, they should watch that wonderful AMA Bang Bang performance with the Trump chant from 2016! I didn’t expect anyone to be surprised by the MAGA comment in 2023, but I’m very pleased that it’s getting them some attention.

We’ll know on the 18th when they perform in NYC! It doesn’t surprise me they wanted it a bit cleaned up for their first live performance and a TV debut at that, and especially with quite a vulnerable song. Seems nerve-wracking all around. I’m really glad they played it there so it got a bit more exposure!

Yup, edited or not, that was a great performance. And for a big event, editing can be a good thing (Amazon performance anyone?).

I thought it seemed crazy how many people knew the AI lyrics but just chalked it up to it being a popular album and a millennial crowd. But yeah in hindsight I think I was naive and this was very scripted. Doesn’t mean it’s bad though. Very excited to see them in good form later this year!
