  1. Really hard to pick, I went for TADIKM only cause it’s passing the test of time so well, every time I hear it, it just gives me everything I want from a GD song. That said the other two are up there. Dilemma is really an amazing track, it truly feels like the most sincere and passionate song they released in a while, and I feel very close to it, and Look ma is such a perfect modern take to classic GD, something I really missed from the band in a long time.

  4. Pasted: While the rainbow has been used as a symbol for support for the LGBTQI+ community for decades, Pink Floyd used it on its Dark Side of the Moon cover art back in 1973 to to symbolise the band's dazzling live light shows. Since the 50th anniversary remix came out they’ve been called on for trying to be “woke”, something Waters would never try to be but above is a prism with light going through it making a rainbow which is ROY G BIV. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. I’m sorry, back on topic.

  6. Bands with colors in their name are awesome. Green, pink, orange, black, blue, white, gray, purple...is there a yellow band?

  7. Dilemma for the fact that it truly is a new single. It fits in with the classic Green Day singles well but stands strong on its own. There’s elements in the song that could make it sit well next to singles from Nimrod and Warning and it fits with anything AI and post AI.

  8. At the risk of going off topic, so I’ll just say, when I was a kid I’d agree with The Wall but as time ran through me, the music and message I’d Darj Side resonated. Both amazing.

  18. Has anyone ever noticed how good Misfits songs sound with 21CB drums? Maybe that’s not so punk rock, but if you have grown tired of Misfits tracks, they really make them come alive. Early Misfits songs weren’t always produced so well, but if you speed up Horseshoes and Grenades for instance and probably some others, they sound like brand new songs again.

  19. Hopefully it doesn't leak. If the album leaks it would mean that all the members of Green Day have a really bad day. Imagine you are happy to give someone their birthday present and by accident the person finds out what it is in advance. That's a bad feeling.

  21. Last night I dreamt I found a video of GD performing in the middle of a crowd of people, no stage or anything just them in a little circle of space with everyone packed round. It looked to be from around 1995-ish. Billie was blonde and starting to get into his chubby phase (but not quite warning era chub). He was wearing a white t-shirt that was wayyy too small it almost looked like a crop top lmao. But his lil belly was hanging out and it was so cute And for some reason Mike was on drums. They played a song from Insomniac, don't remember which one, and then Mike started drumming as if they were gonna play JOS (despite it being Insomniac era GD lol) and Billie opened his mouth as if he was gonna sing it but then Mike started singing Shake A Tail Feather and Billie had a really confused/disappointed expression. Then later on there was another bit of dream where I was on an old-fashioned tram and there was little brass figurines on the side of it for decoration - one of them was the chubby Insomniac Billie from earlier

  23. Had a dream that Billie was this huge 40ft zombie and dressed as Santa. He was stomping through the city with people running away and then his arms fell off

  24. Yeah, I'm pretty sure even the band have confirmed themselves (Mike said it I think) in a roundabout way that they just weren't happy with it so scrapped it. This was years after though, and nobody had said anything to the contrary of "the master tapes were stolen" until then. Like @jengd says, probably just a silly comment that they decided to run with until they got bored. It still seems widely accepted that the theft story was true though. It's even on the album wiki page and everyone knows what Wikipedia says is fact.

  25. I remember Rob cavallo himself saying the real story was they finished what was going to be cigarettes & valentine's he asked them if they thought it was the strongest album they could've made? They all agreed it wasn't I believe it was a segment from green day's bio on A&E biography Channel And rob described the album as being fast punk rock similar to insomniac sound
