  1. Yes but Saviors actually has strong singles unlike the other albums mentioned.

  2. I think we're probably gonna have to wait another week or so to see Dilemma on the charts. I think Dilemma is the 2nd proper radio single for the album, after TADIKM while LMNB I think was probably just a pre-release track, not really a proper "single"

  3. Can someone grab the other two segments? Only one has made it out of the app so far

  4. I keep forgetting there’s an album attached to these singles/this tour until I get an ad like what they sent out this week. I think FOAM traumatized me into not caring about albums anymore.

  5. Last night I dreamt I found a video of GD performing in the middle of a crowd of people, no stage or anything just them in a little circle of space with everyone packed round. It looked to be from around 1995-ish. Billie was blonde and starting to get into his chubby phase (but not quite warning era chub). He was wearing a white t-shirt that was wayyy too small it almost looked like a crop top lmao. But his lil belly was hanging out and it was so cute And for some reason Mike was on drums. They played a song from Insomniac, don't remember which one, and then Mike started drumming as if they were gonna play JOS (despite it being Insomniac era GD lol) and Billie opened his mouth as if he was gonna sing it but then Mike started singing Shake A Tail Feather and Billie had a really confused/disappointed expression. Then later on there was another bit of dream where I was on an old-fashioned tram and there was little brass figurines on the side of it for decoration - one of them was the chubby Insomniac Billie from earlier

  6. Not really sure where to put this. Someone asked where it’s from and there was a reply “Amazon music”, it’s clearly new, and looks awesome https://www.instagram.com/stories/gdpunxrock/3261496829597237873?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

  9. This has popped up. Says it’s one day old but interviewer says he hasn’t heard the record yet so it’s been dug up from somewhere. Butch Walker talking about recording with Green Day. https://www.msn.com/en-us/entertainment/news/butch-walker-on-recording-green-day-album-music-radar/vi-AA1lHjrG

  10. I thought this video clip was here before and after the Amazon Live stream. I was searching for it around the time when the live video was uploaded and came across it.

  13. It's not a different mix . It is because it's on vinyl like Lenny said.Yea they had two diff mixes done with only $2000 to record with and 4 sessions lol. It's the same mix just eq or noise reduction added to the cd. Also depends on if it the reprise vinyl and the reprise CDs cuz those are remastered. Different mix hahahaha Also I hope you're not posting this based solely on listening to that YouTube rip of the vinyl

  14. There's a new Amazon music premier where Billie says "this is is the best we've ever done". Given that he have said this countless times before, I'd like to believe it's true this time.

  15. This is great, man. There's a really great UK podcast called Tape Notes for music production nerds like myself where bands and producers go through song stems, demos etc. and break down their recording process. The latest episode was Patrick Stump and the producer of Fall Out Boy's new album, Neal Avron. Since FOB and GD share a management company, could it possibly happen?! Would love an hour and a half long form deep dive from BJA and Rob Cavallo about the production on Saviors.

  16. Is it all new music? It sounds like three different pieces to me (need to concentrate on listening to it rather than to our guys) and the last one in particular sounds amazing to me! Getting more exciting by the day! I love that we are getting something about/from the band every couple of days.

  17. In Austria Dilemma gets regular Airplay by a regional rock radio station. But not on the mainstream radio stations so far.

  18. Ooh that’s really cool. It’s so heavily produced I wonder if that’s part of some longer thing or just some promo for Amazon?

  19. When you're walking through the grocery store, and double back to see if they still have Oakland Coffee. Not to buy it, just to see if it's still there.

  21. After many years of the CDs being the way I always listened to this.... I was kind of stunned to discover not only did the 1991 LP mix sound better (Obviously it's in hifi), but it used a slightly different mix compared to the CDs and pretty sure all the LPs that came later. Christie Road for example sounds insane. It sounds like Mike's bass was a bit naturally louder than the guitar and for some reason, every subsequent release has since changed that. Not even the 1992 Lookout CD kept the same mix. Like they wanted more emphasis on Billie and lowered Mike to the point where that beautiful bass slapping is almost non existent.

  23. I feel like I’m finally starting to shake off that post-FOAM trauma because it was really hard for me to trust that things were actually as good as they appeared when they kicked off this era, but I think they just might be! 🥰

  24. It’s legit it was confirmed by a number of record stores and Warner when pre orders went home and subsequently taken down

  25. The Instagram account Greendaynews uploaded a video of the band from Amazon Music. There’s a track playing in the background that reminds me of Radio by Alkaline Trio. If it’s a track off the upcoming album it sounds really promising.

  29. As much as I like the enthusiasm they have going every artist thinks their new album is the best one yet and they really were pretty excited about uno dos tre foam I'm gonna take it with a grain of salt until we actually get to hear it

  30. At some point, a certain music records website leaked the track lengths by accident (which were removed afterwards) but people caught on and saved them. Dilemma's lenght turned out being exactly 3:18 when it released so it's possible the track lengths were accurate

  33. Almost two months since the first single and I’m so much in love with the three songs we got so far. I can’t stop smiling every time I hear any of them. Very hyped for the record and so nice to see a warm reaction from fans and listeners on social medias. I feel very positive this record will deliver and that’s great both for the band and us fans. By the way, is there any source/confirmation for this tracklist length times on Wikipedia? I can see Apple Music now shows the total length time but not individual track lengths, the total matches this so is one of the other streaming services giving this detail? Google shows the same, not sure if it is using Wiki as a source, the other way around or what, but I think this might be legit. https://g.co/kgs/1iNU9b

  35. How many people have heard Dilemma on their local station? Doesn't look like mine has played it yet.

  36. Is that a new song heard in the background or just amazon stock music? Absolutely agree viva rock n roll

  37. One month to go dilemma is doing well maybe just save the rest for release, I believe there's 10 songs we haven't heard? that's like a full albums worth of material still outstanding.

  38. Yup- "It ranks the 40 most-played songs on alternative and modern rock radio stations...The chart is based solely on radio airplay ranked by a calculation of the total number of spins each song receives per week. As of 2012, approximately 80 alternative radio stations across the United States are electronically monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week by Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems."

  39. Man. It’s frustrating that it’s stuck at #2 on the Alternative AirPlay chart. I really want it to get to #1 on that chart specifically. That said, overall the song seems to be doing quite well! I’ll keep streaming it daily. Hopefully that will push them over the hump on the Alternative AirPlay chart next week!

  40. I have a good feeling about this record. I haven't been so excited for a album in a while. I was just wondering if they are planning to release father to a son as a single and when, bc normally on the album release day the drop a single with video(or at least that's how market works nowadays) but I don't see them releasing a ballad along with the whole album to approach the media. Unless that ballad IS very good 👀

  42. I’m not sure why - because this has always been the case for legit decades now - but for some reason I’m feeling really bummed that no one IRL (friends, fam) care about Green Day at all 🥲 it’s lonely out there y’all

  45. There's one minute left for midnight and the new year. Everything goes quiet, the stage lights are dimmed down, suddenly, a loud bang is heard and all the pink lights on stage are now at maximum brightness. Lady Cobra is standing in the middle of the stage. Billie starts with the iconic guitar riff and the initial lyrics "Taking a ride to my old haunt..." It is the official live debut of NIGHTLIFE. RIGHT AS THE CLOCK STRIKES MIDNIGHT. All the members of the audience explode, literally (Massive outbreak of spontaneous combustion) because their performance is so fire. 🔥🔥🔥 That's what I imagine is going to happen.
