The hype for this album compared to foamf is night and day

I wholeheartedly believe this is dilemma right here based off of the instagram clip that was just posted. It has the same chords, same tempo and what we hear right here is more then likely the solo.

Brutal Love has that vibe and is one of my favorite songs in existence, so I’m here for it.

The teaser gives me slight Weezer vibes in the end though that‘s not a bad thing. I‘m starting to think this album is indeed going to be „classic“ Green Day with a twist and that is honestly awesome.

After listening over 10 times the teaser I’m 99.99% sure that this is the bridge of the song:

Interesting that all the videos have that black and white filter. For this song I get it, but I want some COLOR

Bro there is always place and time for hate but this is not it. After foam I've lost my hope in the band but they are proving me wrong with american dream, look ma and this snippet. Just enjoy the ride. Boys are at their best when they are not experimenting. Just look how beautiful revrad era turned out to be and this era looks and sounds similar. I am happy and excited to see my long time favorite band live this summer for the first time in my life and can't wait to sing these new songs out loud.

Cool! He’s finally doing podcasts. Maybe that’s what the Whisky A Go Go photos were from too they were posted together. I thought that was backstage at the Whisky. From the About section (maybe someone can copy it here?) he focuses on people with personal struggles including sobriety and other issues so this should be interesting.

The impending 20th anniversary of American Idiot has me all in my feels, and one of my first fangirl memories of Green Day was looking at a Rolling Stone article about them over my dad’s shoulder, reading the image caption with their names listed, and thinking, “Oh no, I can’t have a crush on someone named Billie Joe. That’s a really weird name.” 😂

It makes me LOL to think of the director telling Billie, “Okay, for the opening shot I’m thinking you should look like you just fell on your face.”

Marc Maron (of the WTF podcast) mentioned on an Instagram Live that he was interviewing "The guy from Green Day" this past Monday. I assume it's Billie.

From the few interviews we’ve seen so far this promo cycle, I’ve gotten the vibe that Billie might have some things he wants to say about his sobriety journey (the focus on Dilemma’s lyrics, him commenting in that radio interview that he just got out of rehab, etc.). Which isn’t something I expected, since he was initially pretty adamant he wouldn’t talk about at length after his interview in 2013. But I have a feeling his thoughts on the whole thing have probably evolved a time or two since then. It sounds like if you’ve dealt with addiction, you’re definitely going to be talking about it on this podcast because Dax Shepard is a recovering addict, and I’d be really interested to hear that. I always enjoy Billie’s solo interviews though, so he can talk about whatever and I’d be happy!

I was hoping they’d release DJD instead I like that one better

So far we only know the title name.

I will listen to this one in the hospital bed. Nothing serious on my side as it's related to something else, but will be interesting. Excited for this, as the new songs have been hitting hard.
