With all this news and excitement with the new album again, 1981 has become more catchy than ever. Problem is the only performance we have isn't that great but I am excited to see it come out soon! I know it's not everyone's favourite and it's not an insane song, it's just been stuck in my head and I realllllllllly need to hear a studio version.

BB and RevRad were absolute bangers live. I agree that I don't like that everything from 21CB has been ignored. Stuff like Static Age, Viva la Gloria, Before the Lobotomy, etc. were so good live and I wish they'd bring them back. I honestly believe the setlists from the 21CB tour were the absolute best. There was a surprising amount of variety from show to show, with a solid core, and the balance between old and new was fantastic.

Bang Bang needs to be added to their setlist permanently that single kicked ass

We need a serious Tre song this time around. Let him sing the lead single. Polka / Orchestra / Rock....Opera That is the opener. Then for a few songs, we get 3 that sound straight off of Dookie. Then the new sounds kicks in and it's wild, nasty, eccelectic. Varied. Then we end with Basketcase 2 and Good Riddance Part 3. It's unexplained what happened to Good Riddance 2.

Agree with you 100%. Theres no way they can top American Idiot. They’re so far from that now, they’re getting older and American Idiot is just THAT good. Even if they did do something of equal or more quality it still will not be the same. Even if they top the heights achieved in that time, still not the same! But yes what we need are a handful of some solid radio hits and of course a deep album. On Revolution Radio we got a good handful of hits for airplay but we didnt get that deep roster of tunes. Rev Rad thinned out in the middle. With Foamf we had 1-3 interesting tracks but as a whole effort it wasn’t concise and honestly way too short. Bang bang shocked me when I heard it because I was not expecting that after the singles picked in the trilogy. What a nice surprise. Sounds a bit like Bad Religion.

Guys, I think we all need to prepare for more waiting come Sunday. Even if they do deliver some news, I think the lesson since the teases started in 2021 is: keep your expectations as low as humanly possible.

I think what will happen on Sunday is that the website will update to "YES" and then they'll post a group selfie on their social media and say, "We're awake and we have a HUGE announcement tomorrow!!!"

It's not a bad song actually, a bit weak on the lyrics and similar riffs to Pink's song, other than that it's a fine song worthy to be on album 14. Although I found the drums "weak" or not the typical Tre cool style. If they do decide to put it on the album , let's hope they do some arrangements here and there.. considering they had all the time these past 2-3 years.

I really like One Eyed Bastard. The song was discussed again on here recently. It's now considered not to be a left over from FOAM, and could be a more recent recording. Possibly a track on the new album?

So far it has changed every 2 days, so it's due today. I understand the site is located in California. It's last update happened around 12 noon Pacific Daylight Time. Here in UK it was around 8 pm. Maybe lol. And to you. I'm having a Dookie day today, as per my post in that topic. yeah 21st century tour was the best. Billie's voice was just out of this world lol. It is just after perfromace in seville in 2019 they started to decline. I guess covid was the reason.

Honestly think the new Sum 41 track is probably the worst single they've released. It's so generic. Nothing interesting going on with the guitars even though there are 3 guitarists in the band. Ik it's on the pop punk side of their double album (which is half pop punk and half metal) so it's going to be more simplistic than what they've done the last few albums but even comparing it to their older pop punk stuff (AKNF, Underclass Hero), it's really underwhelming I'm honestly surprised the song is getting the amount of praise it's getting Idk why BB was ever removed from the setlist. Although tbf idk why they've ignored everything from 21CB onwards apart from Know Your Enemy and 21 Guns

Damn sum41 is rocking on with its' new single. Their last album order in decline was the best album of the year for sure. I hope sum41 will tour with green day

Omg I totally forgot to mention - I was at a gig a couple weeks ago and before the bands started coming on and during intervals they were just playing random songs over the speakers with the music videos playing on the screens - both 21 Guns and AI played 😁
