  1. What I love about watching the PVHS show is knowing that only four years later they’d be playing Woodstock and MSG. And if you had told them that then they would never have believed you

  2. I saw on my cousin's dog's Threads account that the whole album, titled Bratwurst, releases in negative three months.

  3. There’s something really special about the Pinole Valley High School performance. To think they’re playing those songs and kids are just casually watching or walking by. Just another rock band setting up playing. Fast forward years later and these songs get played at massive festivals and venues now to thousands of people a night. There’s also a special 93 performance (blanking on where the show was sorry!) where they played a lot of dookie songs. I think those 93 shows are special because you get that intimate show of a band peaking and the setlists contain a mix of the first 3 albums.

  4. Why do we think they're going to delay their single due to blink 182? Do we really think the band are gonna be like "Oh another rock band released an album this month, I guess we better delay our single a bit". As if, people who are fans of blink 182 and Green Day will be too tired from listening to a new album that they won't have the time to listen to one new song from Green Day?. Back in 2016, Revolution Radio released on the same day as Sum 41's album 13 Voices. In 2019, the band intentionally released the single Father of All alongside singles from Weezer and Fall Out Boy

  7. I am so glad the well of Amanda has seemed to dry up. I love the inspiration of Gloria and whatever muses inspired the Trilogy. I hope Dreamcatcher gets released. I am really hoping Billie Joe Armstrong gets out and about to get inspired and adventurous again. Stay the Night. Fell for You. Stop, Drop and Roll. Love is For Losers. Chasing A Ghost. Those songs are incredible. I hope Billie Joe doesn’t hide away and makes his experiences count and makes great music.

  8. I purchased Dookie and Frogstomp on cassette tape at the same time, and to this day, GD and Silverchair are my favorite bands ever. I only bought them because another guy had copies of those tapes in his carrying case, so they were both blind buys at the time

  9. Happy for finally live versions of songs never released before (disapearing boy, Road to acceptance and only of you). Almost every live release in the past has the same songs and there many great songs played live never released (at the library, 80, one for the razorbacks, i was there, private ale)

  10. It's from the 21CB era. I think people have just said C&V because every time the band mentions a song being written a while ago, everyone just assumes it must be from C&V. Idk where people are getting trilogy or Warning though

  11. Apart from Dreamcatcher, Hotfoot Jamboree, Ruby Mae, Gabriella, That just happened, there are other outtakes like: * Mike vs Serena (I think that's the name... It was a tune in a video on CUATRO DVD where Mike and Serena Williams were playing ping pong, I think) * State of Shock: We got that demo in Demolicious * Baby Blue: This song was used in These Paper Bullets, but played by The Quartos band. * Youngblood: I read or listened to in an interview this song was originally from Trilogy Sessions... not so sure to be honest. * I'm alright. * Hello Firecracker * Sattelite * Jezebel * Can't believe my own eyes I don't know if some studio covers can be considered as a part of trilogy sessions: Hybrid moments (Recorded as a gift to Metallica), Goodbye to romance (The band played this cover in secret shows in 2011)

  13. Last nigh in Quebec, Green Day played a new song called 1981: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CuyoLTUtnp1/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== It is the same song from this teaser: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cbmp9LilxZd/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== No further information on release date of a single or album, they just introduced the song, played it, and moved on. But this is definitely step 1 from more to come!

  14. I'm also pretty sure Revolution Radio released on the exact same day as NOFX's album First Ditch Effort

  15. Were any of you waiting for Dookie to come out in 1994? I was vaguely aware of them after It got popular, but I didn't buy Dookie until much later. I jumped on board with Good Riddance. Got Nimrod, then got Superhits, Shenanigans and Warning all around the same time...and then Idiot was the first album I waited for. I remember asking for the day off and standing outside of Best Buy thinking there might be a massive crowd of Green Day fans waiting, haha.

  17. Thank you for pointing that out! semi-related: can anyone recommend me their favorite pre-dookie shows available to watch? I’m talking the full on classic performances up there with the likes of Milton Keynes and Irving Plaza, only it’s 39 smooth/kerplunk era grit! Thank you!

  18. If Blink releases the album in the first half of October, Green Day still has the second half for the single

  19. You guys know I have to hear every song ever, right? Currently going through @龑美優 list and at Cattle Decapitation's The Storm Upstairs. Not very Green Day like but holy poop, it's good.

  20. I think you are right about Sara but think Tre has always had a love for style and clothes, he’s had some really amazing suits and stuff over the years. Could be a shared interest.

  22. In Cuatro we can also hear a few songs that didn't make in on the albums. They are listed in the credits.

  23. It’s just here. People are often so rude and make it all about them on this message board. Be more like @That Dude or @GDFan2019 and everything will be fine. Billie Joe during the Longshot tour had to tell a lot of the same people to stop being at the front of the stage every show and let other people up front. In the real world, the shitty toxic Green Day fans are outnumbered.

  24. Ok let's get this thread back on track... Mike's birthday is coming up, and people around here seem to think that birthdays mean something... Well Mike's birthday is also Star Wars day. A New Hope was released in 1977, so if the album is 1972 themed, then perhaps the album's theme is about something that happened 5 years before A New Hope, and according to the official canon timeline the shows Andor and Rebels take place 5 years before A New Hope, so the new Green Day album will be released on Star Wars day and it will be about forming a rebel alliance, Revrad part 2 confirmed... 1972 will be Revrad in space
