  1. What is often overlooked from Trilogy era is that they wrote fuckton amount of songs. They could seriously release yet another trilogy album that was all written in 2011-2012 because creatively they were at their peak back then. I was really sad to see them completely ignore 10th anniversary of those albums but at the same time it's understandable. They think those songs sucked and it was a dark and twisted time especially for Billie. That being said, Dos! will always be my favorite album from them and I truly appreciate that era more than anything else. If they'd ever do any Trilogy anniversary release, my absolute dream release would contain some of these.. - Unreleased demos and outtakes that didn't make it to albums (That Just Happened, Gabriella..) - One live song from each secret show or one mostly full secret show. Red 7 was drunk as all hell, 1-2-3-4 records was tight and sweaty as shit, Tiki Bar was very random and most likely full of mistakes.. yeah, Webster Hall show would definitely be the winner here. It was sober one with fun halloween spirit. - Confirmation of was Dirty Rotten Bastards played in Webster Hall or not. - Re-release all albums with Cuatro included to the set. Fuck OTIS mixes, but I'd gladly take re-recorded songs if they wanted to do those. - Interview with all 4 members to discuss songs in-detail one by one. I know Cuatro was meant to be exactly opposite of that with Tre even saying ''instead of just discussing the songs, we just wanted to show how they were made and what kind of environment and feelings people had during this process'' but I'm still extremely interested to know how certain songs were made and stuff like that. - Something with Monica Painter. Interview, studio recording footage or whatever. I'd take anything. She's apparently a tattoo artist nowadays.

  4. i always see 21CB as solid/professional song writing, but the trilogy feels like they had a real creative flow, really sad how it turned out in the end give me anything (new) from the trilogy-times, as a re-release, anniversary, at a show, i will be super excited but when you see the band at their shows, dodging anything they wrote in the past 13 years, after 21CB, we should face the sad reality and enjoy the trilogy as it is

  5. I love that the proceeds from that shirt are going to charity, but I'd be too scared of being mistaken for a Trump supporter to wear it.

  7. I feel like Tre's wife dresses him most of the time. Which is a good thing because she has so many ICONIC looks. I will never stop singing praises about her sense of style.

  10. It's unknown how many songs didn't make to Trilogy, but Billie claimed to have written 60 or 70 songs during Trilogy sessions. That Just Happened is Cuatro DVDs bonus song. Obviously very raw but still good tune. Gabriella was played live in Tiki Bar. Not sure if footage exists.

  13. What is the chance of Green Day releasing anything similar like the anniversary releases of Dookie 30th, Insomniac 25th and Nimrod 25th, with demos, live albums and outtakes?

  22. I could see them doing something for the trilogy. And hope they do. There are a couple songs in Cuatro that we never got full versions of. And know there were plenty more.

  23. Please no more Otis remixes. They are totally unnecessary, pretty bad (especially Wild One which sounds like a very low bitrate mp3) and they distort the true picture of what those songs are and what they stood for at time of being released. 2012 was a weird but special year.

  26. Cuatro is so good. A deeper insight into the creative process would be so cool. There’s enough live performance documentaries. Cuatro is my fav. I hope they do something like that again.

  27. The thing is they have a lot of material to use to add in a possible box set. Every small show before the release of Uno was recorded. They probably had tons of unused songs and alternative mixes. Hell, I'd like to see an extended cut of Cuatro too, with a deeper insight of the creative process. Probably it won't happen, but never say never.

  28. I think this may be correct. A couple years back there was a fan on here telling a story of how he got to meet the band backstage on the RevRad tour through some charity connection. He asked Billie if we might one day hear C&V and he said that we already have, that it’s MM2020. So that confirms this. And those pre-AI tensions have been well documented by the band. Mike and Tre were being very critical of Billie’s songs to the the point where he was afraid to play them for them, they didn’t know how to treat each other with respect like adults and they had to grow up a little, work together more and make a conscious decision to continue with the band.

  29. I dont know if I read it in an article or book from „Ben Myers“. I tried to find an article but only found about the „wrestling fight“ between Mike and Billie Joe after the iHeart Show

  30. there's just no way they would throw in a full-on long lost album as bonus material included with an anniversary release, right? especially not in a year where a real new album is coming out. the most we could hope for are outtakes and demos from the sessions.

  31. Why did Mike and Billie fight? And over what? Source?

  32. Last bit of info: There is some substance in Roshambo and Supermodel Robots potentially being for C&V. I think it’s fair to say that Governator is a true AI B-Side due to the timing and it’s possible Shoplifter is too (although the Jimmy part could have been a reworked lyric). There’s also a theory that Wake Me Up When September Ends was actually for C&V as it’s always been the one song that they admit strays from the storyline and of course we know the concept dates back before AI. So I think John’s list is mostly C&V but theres elements of it that are untrue - for example Letterbomb was on there but cannot be listed on that tracklist as it was already selected for AI. And if Roshambo and Supermodel Robots were intended for it then theyre not submitting it as they used it elsewhere.

  38. 1 year, 8 months and 18 days go we began to hear talks of ALBUM 14, or maybe an EP. 2023 has been pretty awful in terms of Rock releases. Fall Out Boy has the only perfect album of the year and wow, I never thought I'd say THAT. Will Green Day and Offspring make 2024 fantastic? Or will they both leave us waiting a lifetime for this. Moment to come. I'm destined. To post a lot of stuuuuuuffff. DOWNTOWN.
