They were going to re-record Cigarettes and Valentines again for 2022 or 2023 but it just wasn't up to their standards, even with substantial rewrites and renames. And when someone stole the masters, they decided 1972 was dead. But immediately after scrapping it, they banged out a new album in two weeks that is better.1 point

I thought it was a really interesting article, Larry still asks the best questions, possibly because he has known them so long.
