Probably a non starter for a side project, but maybe a Welcome To My Panic 2? As well as some amazing reworking of some classic GD songs, listening to Billie Joe sharing his thoughts and feelings of his life was so so special. I would love to hear more, along with more acoustic versions of GD songs.

I really don’t like Butch Walker’s production on Green Day songs, just doesn’t sound right at all. Makes them sound like Weezer or Fall Out Boy or something and it just sounds super gross. that said, Fever sounds like a pretty catchy tune 👍

These should be released. They sound promising.

The new (to me) leaks don’t sound like AI to me but if they are genuine can you just imagine all that work, time and energy being put into a body of work and it being hacked before you get a chance to release it! Shocking, I can’t believe Crush (if it was them who were hacked) were so badly protected, really negligent imho. Wonder how are boys are feeling over this. 🥹

Forgot if it was Sirius (for some reason I thought it was some random Midwest station, which made even less sense). I only heard it the one time and never again. You'd think someone would have caught it and put it on Youtube, but I've never heard it again.

Was watching new episodes of the same TV show and one of those characters' ex-gf/best-friend died and they played Good Riddance again and now I feel like someone in production is definitely a GD fan lol

Just wanted to post this here because I remember there being some speculation on this site that GD might do the next super bowl show after one of their songs was used in a trailer - apparently it's been confirmed that Miley Cyrus is in negotiations to do it alongside two male singers. Therefore probably not gonna be GD. While I don't pay much attention to those kinds of lists because what's being labelled as "the worst" is actually just people taking very popular artists' least popular albums and isn't an accurate representation of actual bad music, it is kinda sad to see GD on here especially with it being such a short list 😕

P!nk played two shows in my city over the weekend so I was googling the setlists to see what she played and I remembered she played here at the same venue about a decade ago so I decided to google her setlist back then too - turns out she'd brought Butch Walker on stage to perform a few covers with her, including Basket Case. So then I found out he'd produced 3 of her albums around that time so has obviously worked with her a lot, and now it makes so much more sense to me why OEB uses the So What riff, especially if it's from the foamf sessions. I'm guessing Walker had a lot more influence on that record than I initially thought tbh.

Even if there was a case to be had It would be a waste of a lawsuit right now Pink or whoever owns the publishing would spend more money on lawyers than they’d get in court since GD has not released this song they have made zero money off it

I always thought he’d be great doing a radio show, he has such depth of knowledge and love for music, I guess that has become he’d be great doing a podcast. Maybe when GD retires. Oh I know and it is shocking but it’s pretty unforgivable if they haven’t done everything they can to protect data.

Well it's happened before. AI had 5 main CD singles 21st C also had 5. Whist RevRad had 3. I mention 'main', as there where variations around the world. So a particular single from an album was released with different covers, and different additional live tracks depending on country of issue.
