With all this recent activity, and hinting from the mods themselves, what if the album is, in fact, delayed until January/February 2024, and to make up for the delay, they're going to drop the first single by July/August? And then they could drop the second single by October/November, and then hopefully, the album could have 16-18 tracks?

It's not so far from mkt strategies are doing nowadays. Just as an example Muse last year dropped Won't stand down on early January but they didn't annouce the album until two months later with the main/proper single that was Compliance. The album came out on August so there were almost 8 months gap between first single and album. We'd should not follow any strategy standard of course, but it could be a possibility.

There's been at least a 3 year gap between all Green Day studio projects since Nimrod. Why would anyone be expecting a GD album in 2026?

yeah, that could be. To me I wiould be very ok for a longer or even double album. So keep the songs coming

There was like this really tiny scene in one of my dreams that featured Billie and it was like something straight out of a horror movie. Like I was standing in a dark corridor and Billie was standing a few feet in front of me, I could only just make out his face but his eyes were really bright so I could see them clearly. I could see the green moving from side to side, he wasn't moving at all, just his eyes going either way. And then this really creepy smirk came on his face as he looked right at me. And then he just sort of moved towards me so fast I didn't even see him moving, he was just there in my face (like a jumpscare scene or something). And then everything went black. Was super fucking creepy tbf but now I want Billie in a horror movie 😂
