I have no reason to doubt what you've heard and it actually sounds plausible/likely, which is a nice change of pace for anything we've had over the last 360+ pages. I've been doubtful towards the whole Easter thing because I've watched this band long enough to know they're not going to hint at something with seemingly-random emoji in a TikTok video. When they want us to know something it will be obvious and intentional. Until then, we should refrain from turning things into something they aren't. No birthdays, no holidays, no bull shit... they will tell us when they're ready.

I have to imagine plans changed a couple times throughout this teasing process. They did the whole heavy teasing thing with the trilogy, keeping us up to date pretty much every step of the way. Through the lead up to Uno, that all went according to plan. That doesn’t seem to be the case here.

Maybe because they don't want to show off too much of the album before it's actually announced. Imagine if they continued doing monthly teasers, we would've heard a small part of every song on the album by now

It's their words. Can something change? Of course. But that was their words in late January. But. This twitter account doesn't seem legit at all.

And maybe they were posting stuff when they were actually in the production process, probably they have been done recording for a while now, and except mastering and mixing activities (maybe/probably done as well), now they are just in the “wait for the right time to release/promote” phase.

the trilogy announcement and teasers and "secret"-shows were awesome and hype-building, i hope GD will do some extraordinary marketing nowadays many bands just put out an announcement and then release nearly half of their upcoming LP as singles on spotify i always try to not listen to those singles because it kinda ruins the "first ever listen" of a new album, but i am impatient sometimes i just hope GD will stick to the oldschool "lead-single ... second single ... (maybe a third single) ... album release"-pattern and pls shows in europe in the near future 🙏

What are the reasons, really? An emoji and a Canadian festival organizer saying that they are touring during the summer, thing we already knew? Don’t take it as a personal criticism, I understand this just comes from passion and anticipation for the next record which is nice, but you guys sometimes build clues out of your imagination only to then be disappointed by your own hype building. It’s been happening at least once a month for a year since the real teasers stopped being released. And then again, one single person on an online forum post about a supposed vocal cord issue without mentioning any source or evidence, and for some reason that becomes a rumor to be considered as legit and the reason why plans that never existed have changed.

I don't know about that but I can see they have nothing on July 15th so I hope they're gonna spend some time in Québec City the day before the show walking in the city because I'm gonna stalk them like a creep and get a picture with this beautiful man named Billie Joe.
