I think there’s a good chance they announce something Monday or Tuesday, drop a single Friday and put the tour on sale the following week

More disappointment?

I'm beginning to think this Green Day thing was one big elaborate ruse from the start. There is no Green Day, they don't exist! That would explain the lack of updates, the whole band was just a prank from the start. Sadly, I believe it is time for this forum to wrap things up, I solved the mystery of 1972. It was good knowing you all. As I fade from the very fabrics of reality because I too never existed, I'll remember this joke fondly. Thank you, "Green Day" if that is your real name, thank you for making me feel like I was real, it was an honor.

Hidden song don't really exist anymore lol I mean we can all know the lenght of an album and every song with Spotify. But damn I love when fans are trying to solve the mystery when the social media manager probably just random click a lot of emojis.

I had a dream last night were I was out shopping and I saw and bought the new Green Day single and a promo poster for the album. They need to hurry up, my psyche can’t take the wait even in my sleep 😥

Also they are not doing anything. Their social media manager/someone in their communication team posted that. Most likely as part of a “let’s post something on TikTok at least once a month” strategy.

I really hope your source is reliable and/or didn’t misunderstood/miscommunicated whatever is going to happen this summer. Seeing this blowing up would not be a nice thing to watch considering the state of this forum 😝 Just find it a bit odd to have a single/tour announcement in May/June when the tour would supposedly start in June/July. But who knows, maybe the summer is just festival gigs and promotion with a summer single being dropped by then, with an album release and proper tour in the fall. Not the typical release strategy, but they did something like that with American Idiot, would not exclude it.

I read that as this Monday - May 31st. Still, I’m rolling with the Easter week theory and betting we get news early next week 🤞

If you want something this weekend, maybe. But if you want something before June, no.

So seems unlikely they do a Friday single release at this point. I guess we hope for a random, rare Monday single or the Easter theory is a wash.

Announcement could be on Monday and single whenever they want to release it. Also we are considering this time frame because of the rumored tour on June. So if that's true they'll let us know very soon.

Actually yes! First things first - I get on stage back in June. I basically just hugged Billie and shouted "gimme gimme revolution" with the most Polish accent you could hear in Czechia - but still it's the best experience in my life. When I get back to my spot, I was crying my eyes out (and couldn't stop) and Billie and Tre were trying to cheer me up, which was the cutest thing ever Then I met Mike, Kevin and Jason White in the pub in London It was so random and I still can't believe it, but apparently it happened! We chatted a bit, took some pictures, they gave us guitar picks and Mike took a goofy selfie of himself with my phone And finally I met Billie in Glasgow. He was really tired, so we just took a quick selfie and said few nice words to him, but the same day in the evening we ended up in the same club at Jesse Mallin show

Announcement could be Monday about a single coming Friday. They could announce the album release date and the tour ticket sale date

Singles are released on Friday, except very few exceptions. Not gonna happen.

Why would they announce something on Easter? They never really done it for any other album (not counting Christmas time of the year ) Occam's Razor, the simplest explanation is proooooobably the right one. I'd love to be wrong here

Three months. It's been three freaking months. That's how long the Green Day store has been giving me the run around. After firing off a FIFTH message this time asking to cancel my order, I suddenly get a message that says my order has shipped. Unbelievable. I really hope to never deal with their store again because it fucking sucks. Shipping delays, that are never stated up front, high shipping fees, high prices in general, and poor communication. Screw that.
